8 Litre Long Reach Galvanised Watering Can - Green

Bought this watering can for my partner for his birthday. When it arrived I was pleased with the look and design of the can. Unfortunately after a few uses it started leaking from the bottom of the can. I returned it for a replacement. The second can arrived and whilst taking it out of the packaging the brace came away from the long reach spout. Unfortunately having tried two cans, both being faulty, I requested a full refund.

It's a long spouted metal watering can which I find lovely to use. The filter fits very well and whilst being fine does not impede flow to any great extent when filling up from the pond, butt or hose. The handles are fine - and as you can see from the picture, do not pass over the filler unlike so many others. As I'll be using it so much each day for around 6 months each year its worth paying the extra I think...and should last a long time.Perhaps I should just say from the moment I opened it I was pleased with the purchase.

The first one I ordered arrived in an ernormous box and leaked. No problem replacing it and the new was in an even vaster box! When full ,needs two hands to balance and the top has a ridge which holds water until used in the normal way then the water pours out. OK in the garden but not great in the conservatory. Looks good and so was delivery. Both times!

Had high hopes for this watering can as the build quality looked top notch. We also liked the fact that a filter was included - useful when filling from a rail barrel - and the rose produced a narrow fine spray.Unfortunately, the item we received leaked from the point where the spout meets the main body of the can, so was returned for a refund. It will be back to all-plastic watering cans for us. Very disappointed.

Very good quality well balanced and very effective strainer when you fill up can. All in all cost more than a normal watering can but well worth price considering quality, reach and keeping muck out of the can with the straining facility. Highly recommended.

Arrived damaged so I returned it, but felt thin and weak (in comparison to others I have owned/used over the years). You get what you pay for. Absolutely no quibble, very fast return policy though.

A lovely looking watering can, however it leaked from the point where the spout joined the can. The replacement did the same. Both returned and a cheaper one bought locally, not as good as this one but it does not leak.
