The tool was easy to use an really did the job. I was able to pull soil samples from around my yard with ease. The beveled end easily slid into the soil and pulled out a nice sore sample. It didn't flex when pressing down on the T handle at the top. I did lose one of the plastic end caps on the handle but they're really only there for aesthetic reasons. The "garden tools" that came with it are small but we use the tiny shovel when repotting house plants.

This coring tool is very strong metal and made it easy to take core soil samples. The additional garden tools are too small to be of any use (6 inches including handle) and seem like they are for kids to play with. The sample bags are strong with a zip style closure. Our local sample office provides us the bags they prefer so I will find a different use for these bags so they are not wasted. I like that the coring tool is one piece which gives it a very solid feel.

This option was a little cheaper than others and worked great. Cute little tools come with it that I didn’t need but maybe in the future!

It was inexpensive, and it is cheap junk. Having said that, it worked for the one time I have used it. The tools that come with the coring device are pure junk. They will go to the grand kids for use as toys. The coring device works, but the plastic end caps came off the first time I held it my hand. If you want something that will hold up for regular use, look elsewhere.

For the price, the extra goodies are nice. The tool is made from heavy material, and should last for years.

Honestly, I only realized today when I went to go write the review that this was supposed to come with sample bags and some small gardening tools. I received the actual probe but didn't get any of the other pieces with it. It's long past the return window so I guess I'm SOL.As far as functionality, it works as intended. It's a soil probe with a strong design. The tip is sharp to cut through the soil with ease. The price is fair considering it's a hollow tube. I wish I had received the other pieces with it. No need to have a 1 star review for a functional product but all items weren't included.
