We bought two for our boys for a renaissance festival and they looked great! The costumes looked nice, and although the boys did say the sleeves were a little itchy at first, they said later it didn't bother then. The just wore white t-shirts underneath. Our boys are little short for their ages. Our 10 year old fit into a medium perfectly, as did our 7 year old in a small. The buttons on the cape aren't sewn on well, but are easily reinforced with some thread or even a safety pin. We used safety pins to attached the boot covers to the pants. We also got them swords and shields (California Costumes Crusader Sword & Shield Costume Accessory) to go with their costumes and they looked like little knights. They got many compliments! We paid about $30 for each.

Good looking costume, but it was thin. Does NOT come with a sword, which was totally my fault…I didn’t read the description thoroughly so I can’t fault them for that.The material was itchy.For the price, I would’ve liked something that my kiddo didn’t have to wear clothing under to be comfortable.

I didn’t think I would like this costume as much as I do because of the reviews. When it arrived and I was able to get my son in it I thought of the costume as adorable. The cape is sewn onto the top and there is a small zipper on the back of the top. Costumes nowadays usually have just Velcro so I was happy it had a zipper showing it was higher quality. Even cute without the belt (my son didn’t want to wear the belt). I would recommend this product.

It is a beautiful and well made costume... except, the plastic net on the sleeves that is supposed to look "armor" is itchy on the overlock side, sharp and very uncomfortable. A kid would have to wear a long sleeve shirt under the costume. Which wouldn't work for our plans, plus, size M didn't give any extra room anyway. So, I had to return it and opt for a less attractive costume. Otherwise size M was good for my almost 7 year old (who looks almost 9)

My grandson was knighted with this costume. His birthday party was a hit!!!

My son was super excited receiving this costume however it arrived torn in several places so the quality is not high at all. I must sew and repair it independently as another costume will not arrive in time for our costumes holiday

My 7 year old son wanted a knight's costume for Halloween this year after watching the Merlin series on BBC. It was an excellent fit for him. He loved it. He will need to wear a full sleeved undershirt as the arms have that netted material which he said was uncomfortable and scratchy to wear. The knight's logo on the front was bigger than shown in picture so came up to his tummy. Other than that, costume looks like the picture. Overall very pleased with purchase. We also bought the Lion's sword from Amazon to go with the costume.

My great-grandson loved it. He wore it for carnival and he was my 'brave' knight since I was dressed as Queen Berengere. We had a blast. For the price the costume was perfect. I strengthened the sewing on the cape so it wouldn't fall off prematurely but the colors were nice and bright and the front standing lion was perfect since Berengere was married to Richard the LionHearted. It made it fit nicely. It's really a nice costume for the price. Oh, the pants are useless, so he wore his regular pants with the tunic and cape. it was on the chilly side so he wore a grey sweatshirt underneath and the hood fit nicely with the costume. very comfortable also for a day of walking and playing about.
