– Not Just a Patch Freestyle Libre 2 Sensor Covers - 20 Pack, Multicolor

Purchased for use with Freestyle Libre 2 Plus after I found that the device would fall off after 45 minutes. I used the patch in conjunction with SkinTac wipes to ensure good adhesion and it did not disappoint. It was easy to apply and kept the device secure for the full 15 days of operation the Libre has. The patch did peel a small amount on one edge after about 6 days but a small application of more SkinTac and the edge stuck back down not coming off again. At the end of the 15 days the patch peeled off relatively easily although it did leave a mark on my skin for about 5 days after. Picture shows the patch at the end of 15 days use. Did the job for me so thumbs up.

These are absolutely brilliant! I’ve been using a Freestyle Libre 2 sensor for several years and live a very active lifestyle. I have tried various different brands of patch to protect the sensor and these are the first to stay on and not need to be replaced during the whole life of the sensor. Sensor readings are accurate and the patch still looks good after two weeks. So despite being pricier than cheaper alternatives, they don’t need to be replaced as frequently. My kids choose the colour I have to wear!!! 🤣

I like the material of the patches and the variety of colours you can choose from. However, the stickiness isn't the best I have tried but ok. I always ensure that my skin is clean and dry before putting a libre and patch on and theybare very easy to use. The don't prevent the libre from scanning so its very effective. The only downfall is the longevity hence why I rated it a 4*

Easy to apply and lasts for the period of the sensor. It gives security and while not the cheapest option it works well.

I have used a few of these now and cannot recommend them having now thrown the rest of the box into the bin. The first patch fell off within a couple of days. The next couple of patches actually worked fine so I figured the first was just a duff, after that they proved more trouble than they were worth. My next patch caused a £60 Freestyle Libre GCM too detach from my arm after only 3 days of use, making it a complete waste of money (I started feeling a stinging pinching sensation as I moved my arm one day, it turned out the patch had partially peeled off, curled around itself and somehow snagged the sensor below (bypassing the protective none stick paper somehow), and yanking it partially from my arm which killed the signal. I should have stopped there but figured this to be a freak accident, the next (and final) patch started getting painful after a day or so of wear, trying to remove it caused a nasty MARSI injury (Medical Adhesive-Related Skin Injury), taking off several layers of skin and leaving an painful inflamed ring around the site of the former patch, that was so deep in places it exposed yellow layers under the skin and was weeping puss. I am actually quite angry with the product, and the hit and miss quality of each patch. Some would barely stay on my arm, whilst others bonded so well they could not be removed without harm.

Bought these for a pool holiday and used 1 patch all holiday ( 8 days ) and it still sticking well

Stayed on for a couple days then pealed so much at the sides I had to take it off. Same with the new one I applied after. Great if only wearing for a shower or a swim but won’t last the full 15 days

Since my Diabetes Specialist Nurse introduced me to the Libre Freestyle 2 sensor in 2024, I looked for covers and found this brand, which are the best. I initially bought single colour packs from Diabetes UK, then found these multi coloured packs on Amazon, and this is my second repeat order. They protect your sensor when showering then you can just put a dry cover on afterwards. They are expensive for what they are, but they work, and that's the important thing.

Works great. Lasts way longer than any other Libre 2 covers I have used. I can play soccer, go to work, and shower without a worry of it falling off. May need another person to aid in application, but it is worth it. Lays flat and adheres to the skin extremely well.
