OMG, it’s magic.
I am a stain wizard. My second child had reflux with projectile vomiting, so I had no choice. I had to save the baby clothes, the swivel/rocker recliner, sofa, chairs, my clothes, the carpet, etc. A quarter century later, my adult children bring their clothes, asking me to remove stains after their attempts (imaginary or not) had failed. They believe I have “magic potions”because I have always been successful. I believed the products I own, by themselves, or mixed together in specific portions as pastes, creams, or liquids, could remove any stain. I was the Stain Queen according to my family, and I thought I deserved that title.Oh how far the mighty shall fall from their pedestals. Last month I found a cotton muslin vegetable bag in the refrigerator’s crisper drawer. It had molded and mildewed jalapenos inside. I had simply forgotten they were there. (Please say I am not the only one this happens to.) No matter what I tried - and I pulled out all my tricks and “potions” - I still had one dime-sized spot that would not come out. I am OCD, so that wasn’t going to fly in my house within my lifetime.I researched and decided on Amodex. I had used a sample previously on an ink stain just to see if it worked, but it was too expensive in those days. I air-dried the bag after each failed attempt because that would have set the stain, but I knew each time I used a product or paste, it would be even harder for the next treatment to work. I said a prayer, applied one drop of Amodex, and rubbed it over the whole stain with a brush. I could still see the stain, although it was lighter. The Amodex was working. I applied a little more, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then threw it in the wash with the other whites. Feeling defeated once again, I, honest to God, believed I was going to have to research more stain removal products. I was surprised and thrilled when it came out of the wash gloriously clean. (I may have even emitted a loud “YES!” as I pulled my right fist and arm towards my body in the common sign for victory.)It is worth every penny! I was so happy, I bought a bottle for the DIL who married that now grown second child. He still stains every shirt he owns, but she has the magic potion now and so do I.

It works as advertised!
Amazing! Removed tomato based stains from already washed & dried kitchen towels and placemats. It does what it says.

Wow! A must have in the house!
I really wish I had taken a before picture before using this! I read a bunch of the reviews before buying/using this, so I knew not to try and treat the area I wanted cleaned.I carry a sharpie on a retractable clip around at work. I somehow managed to put the sharpie back in the cap upside down 3x in one day! I had black sharpie lines all over my jeans! They are a multi color tie dye look, so I was hesitant to use this product for fear that it would remove the tie dye colors. I still don't know if the tie dye on the jeans is actual tie dye or what, but wow! The lines are all gone minus 3 small black dots that I'm still working on. They are barely noticeable compared to the lines so I'm beyond thrilled! After shaking the bottle, the Amodex liquid isn't too thin, so I didn't waste too much product. I used an old toothbrush to scrub vigorously. I probably treated each of the lines twice with the Amodex, and kept scrubbing. The ink was disappearing and the tie dye wasn't! Again, since I don't know how the jeans were actually colored to make the tie dye look, I don't recommend trying this without testing a small area first on home made tie dye! After it looked like all the sharpie lines were gone, it wasn't completely clear if some of the black from the tie dye had bled because of the way the wet areas made the jeans look. I was starting to think I should have just left the lines because it looked better than what I was looking at. I took the jeans and rinsed all the treated areas under water, hanging them to dry overnight. Before they even dried though, I could see the black from the tie dye hadn't bled. My jeans were saved!I don't know why the remaining 3 black dots (very tiny) don't seem to want to come off vs all the lines that were drawn, but they're really not very noticeable, so I'm only trying 1 last time to remove them. All the scrubbing is harsh on the material. I gave the Amodex 4 stars because of those last 3 dots, and it's kind of expensive considering the size of the bottle. There's no offensive smell (unless you put the stuff right by your nose and take a big whiff lol). Maybe there are other products out there that work as well, but it's not worth checking them out to me since this worked fast and was easy to use.The instructions tell how to use the product based on the material you're trying to clean which is nice and there's also a phone number you can call for help/questions.

Does what is says very well - great product!
Amodex is one of the rare products that does exactly what it promises. If I am about to do laundry, I just squirt some on the stains and rub it in with a toothbrush then wash in warm water if you can rather than cold. It has never failed to get out an ink or grease spot for me, and it has never lifted color or otherwise damages a garment. My daughter-in-law swears by it too and says it has saved her hundreds of dollars because she does not need to toss her 5 and 10 year olds' clothes which get frequent stains. I love this product and have told all my friends about it.

Tried it on leather. Ink stain did not go away
Did not work in my situation. Followed instructions. Worth a shot I guess from the other positive reviews.

Fabulous
This is without a doubt the best stain remover that I have tried. My mom had several food based stains on a fairly new dress that would not come out. We tried several other remedies followed by washing and none worked. I put the Amodex liquid on the spots and let it sit for 12 hours. Laundered it at that point and it totally removed the stains. Great product to have on hand!

This really works!
I've been using this product for quite a long time. Over 10 years actually. In that entire time it failed to remove a stain only once. That's a very good record. My grandkids who get so many stains think I perform magic.

Good for ink stains
Product significantly reduced the appearance of the ink mark I was trying to remove. Unfortunately it had sat for a while before I ordered and received the product. Earlier use might have removed it completely.
