Very handy night light
Toilet Night Light TeckNet LED Sensor Motion Activated Toilet Light Seat Lamp for Bathroom Washroom,16 Colors Changing Night Light Toilet Bowl Light, PIR Motion Sensor, Battery Operated This is quite a solid little night light. It's made of white durable plastic which does bend rather than snap when flexed. On the rear is a fairly large slide on battery cover which is a little tight to remove but I suspect this is because the light has to be splash resistant. On the front you have the motion/light sensor along with a small button which cycles through your various light settings. There is a single LED bulb which points down into the WC. The light is powered by three AA batteries, as there is only a single LED bulb I suspect the batteries will last quite a long time. The light is supplied in a strong cardboard box along with an easy to understand user manual plus warranty card.I found the light easy to setup, just pop the batteries in and you are ready to go with the pre-programmed settings. There is a flexible arm which you bend to fit your WC, the LED bulb points down into the bowl. It all looks pretty well waterproofed although I suggest removing it when cleaning as the light probe looks waterproof but the light body may not stand up to constant soaking.Once in place the light works a treat - Walking into my dark bathroom the light activated instantly due to it's motion sensor, it gives off a nice soft coloured glow which really does light up your WC as the product description photos suggest. The thing I like about it is the light is bright enough to see but not so bright that it wakes you up. You can adjust the brightness of the light if you wish, obviously if set a little dimmer it will help the batteries last longer. You can also select which colour glow you wish to have, the unit will remember your settings so you don't have to keep adjusting it. The default setting is 'Carousel' which cycles through all the available colours giving a different colour every 4 seconds. If you wish you can set it to remain on your favourite colour. The light is activated by motion and light, so if it detects there is sufficient light in the area it's used in then the light will not activate. It is very sensitive, walking around my house with it in my hand as soon as it detected a dim area the light came on, then switched off instantly when I walked into a lighter area.Surprisingly, this is a very handy light to have, I can see other uses for it besides your bathroom - Porch area? garden shed? child's bedroom?Highly recommended product!(If you found my review helpful I would appreciate if you click 'Yes' below - thank you)

Half-light
I bought this for the landing, and hoped to save in electric, the cost of it. I'm not a big believer in this LED light trend, and still prefer florescent savings. However, as a landing light, without need for brightness, this has helped with illuminating the stairs and bathroom door. I wouldn't say it's a safe lux level but it's better than blacking out when you forget or are too lazy to switch the light on. For that reason, I believe it a good buy, but there are issues with it. The main one is the half-light flickers.

Really useful little light!
I thought this would be useful as my husband and I do tend to get up during the night to use the ‘facilities’! The light comes with a warranty card and easy to understand instruction booklet. The light requires three AAA batteries, which aren’t included. Once you’ve put the batteries in, you can use the button at the front of the light to select your light settings. You can adjust the brightness of the light and also put the light on “carousel” mode where the light will cycle through the colours once activated. You place the unit over the side of the toilet bowl so that the sensor is on the outside and the light is pointing down into the bowl. The light is activated by motion and light so it won’t activate when there is sufficient light and/or motion is detected. We tried out the unit when the light was on in the bathroom and, as stated by the instruction booklet, the light did not activate despite us moving around near it. Once we turned the bathroom light off and walked into the room, the light activated and you could clearly see the toilet bowl!We were concerned that the light wasn’t turning off once we had left the bathroom but it stays on for about a minute and then switches off. This is definitely handy for helping you find your way out of the bathroom and back to bed!I imagine this might be useful in the event of a power cut, so perhaps it would also be good to have in other areas of the house. I must admit, my husband and I initially thought it was a bit of a novelty item but it’s actually really useful and we’re very pleased with it!

Great little light. Has a surprisingly positive impact on overall wellbeing!
It's 4am. You awake from a warm, fulfilling sleep to a feeling of discomfort. A last desperate attempt to fall back to sleep is only met by the knawing desire to nip to the loo. So you drag yourself out of bed. Previous experience has taught you that to leave the light off at this point will only lead to a missed target and mess to be cleaned up tomorrow. So, *click*, on goes the light, along with any chance you had of getting back to sleep before 5. You stomp off to the loo, and back again, feeling more and more awake and alert with every step you take. Your weary body falls back into the warm bed, and with another *click*, off goes the light. But its too late. Those photo-receptors in your eyes have become excited. And excited they remain. They will not calm, they will not relent. You're awake now and you'll be lucky to be able to fall back asleep within an hour. So you're going to be tired all the following day, and therefore miserable.ORYou buy a TeckNet LED Toilet Night Light. Then...It's 4am. You awake from a warm, fulfilling sleep to a feeling of discomfort. A last desperate attempt to fall back to sleep is only met by the knawing desire to nip to the loo. So you drag yourself out of bed. You plod off to the loo and as you lift the lid, a small, non-intrusive light blinks on. It provides just enough light to guide you to the appropriate target. As you walk away, the light automatically turns off. You get back into bed, and within about 5 minutes, fall back into a warm, peaceful sleep.
