The instructions are very basic, if you're not mechanically oriented, it might be frustrating at first. Once you get the locking pawl figured out and adjusted, it goes quickly, and makes the chain as sharp, or sharper than new. There are 2 angles on your chain to adjust. You'll do all of the one angle, then set it up for the 2nd angle and do all of them. It'll make more sense once you go to do it. A suggestion to the manufacturer, have someone create an instructional video in multiple languages, if you do, these will sell very quickly.

So for 16.00 you aren't going to be able to assemble a kit as complete as this one. The only thing, I didn't like was the gloves which are cute but they're too small. Overall, its a good purchase and I highly recommend it.

This product looks great in the pictures but it does not seem to line up correctly at any angle. The sharping/grinding tools are of poor quality materials and bad design. Just not worth the money or energy.

Used for first time today. It seems to do a good job. The teeth that are slanted towards to outside of saw worked perfectly. The ones slanted the other way, the tool does not seem to work properly. The locking mechanism which sets the depth of cut, cannot be engage as it does not have a long enough range.. I had to fabricate my own locking mechanism, but I think I got all the teeth sharpened. It was a lot easier than using a file and a lot more accurate. Will use saw tomorrow and see how good a job it did!
