Does what it says. Remember to take off the plastic, or it gets hot!
Great item, does exactly what it says. Simple and easy. Remember to remove the *almost invisible* plastic covering around the two dongles on either end. I didn't and it overheated and caused the display to go blank. Upon investigation, I unplugged the adapter and felt in my hand that it was scorching, and then noticed the thin plastic only due to the thermal-rippling that it had acquired. It has worked perfectly ever since I removed the plastic.No noticeable input lag, to me.

Good HDMI to DP adapter to help use older DP displays
This is a quality HDMI to DisplayPort adapter from Corn. I have been finding some older displays I wish to still use are capable of DisplayPort connections and more and more devices seem to prefer HDMI connections. This adapter has some special, directional ability to convert a HDMI signal to a female DisplayPort connector. I found it easy to plug one of my existing DisplayPort male-to-male cables into this adapter and just keep going. I haven't found any problems with the adapter, but I am only using it with a 1920x1200 60hz monitor so it's not exactly pushing the transmission protocol maximum through the conversion.

Works great for 4k @ 60 Hz
I have a KVM switch with HDMI and DP inputs but some of my devices only have HDMI outputs. This worked great to drive my 4k monitor at 60Hz going from HDMI to Displayport, allowing me to have more dual monitor outputs to my KVM switch. Build quality is good and sturdy.
