Doesn't fly
It didn't work. Not even a little. I've had several RC planes. This one sucks.

Could not get it to fly strait and level
For $30, it's a cool looking lightweight plane. Nice colored lights under the wing as you can see in one of my pics. That does look cool as the back yard starts to get dark. The controller is about as basic as you need. Speed control left stick, turn left and right on the right stick. A button for the lights and a button they call "acceleration gear", that seems to be just another speed control. The instructions don't tell you exactly what it's for!. The controller itself feels cheap and a little more plasticky than other controllers for small rc toys. The plane itself, as these almost NEED to be, is a featherweight. With battery ready to fly it is only 28 grams, which is slightly less than an ounce. It comes with three batteries, each giving you the better part of 8 or 10 minutes of fly time, as they are 3.7V 600mAh. When you first fire it up, the initial pairing can be a little wonky as the few steps you need to take are not intuitive. It seems to have some sort of stabilizing chip, as it seems to try and correct itself when it acts like it's going to head for the ground. My point however is that it doesn't seem to work well, which segues into my next point below.Actually flying this plane... that's the rub. That's why only three stars. I have several other small Styrofoam planes like this, and this one is the most difficult to control. It WILL take off from a flat level surface like a basketball court, but not consistently. I expected more from 4DRC, as I have many well made and even some high end rc cars and trucks from them. My first drone 7 years ago was a very basic beginner 4DRC that went for $75 back then. They are a well rounded rc toy company that's been around the block. This one doesn't deserve the 4DRC name however. It's just difficult to fly stably. I think at least part of the reason is that it is so light. It's less than an ounce! The slightest breeze and it's buffeted to where you think it's going to nose dive into the ground any second. I'm pretty sure that if I attached even a little weight in a balanced fashion, it would not have the power to take off or fly. I've just never gotten a nice smooth level flight out of it after several times trying. Therefore I can't give it more than three stars.

LOVE IT!
lots of fun but defiantly took a few nose dives to get the hand of things. no where near perfect at flying this but i feel i have the basics down. sturdy enough to take a few nose dives and keep going and even a few out of control slams into a tree.

Decent plane for learning basic flying
I got the Advanced 2024 Remote Control Airplane for adults RC Fighter jet. We have a long driveway so I did some taxiing down it to practice handling. I had to fiddle with the landing gear a decent amount to get the plane driving straight on the ground. It has some nice lighting under the plane which makes it easier to see at dusk or dawn. Flying it takes some getting used to, I never had one of these types of planes before. My neighbor who is an RC plane enthusiast gave me some lessons which helped out greatly. It does come with three battery backs, each lasting about 30 minutes or so. The remote is pretty simple as it should be. It is fun to mess around with, I do not feel bad if it crashes a few times. There are some spare parts with it too if the propeller gets damaged.

It works... sort of
This review is for the jet which was made available to me as a Vine reviewer. I will note that after I received my jet, the product was made unavailable before being re-introduced to Amazon in a slightly different configuration, to include landing gear.I really don't like giving negative reviews, but in this case, I don't have much choice. This is not a good product, especially when factoring in the cost (currently listed at $39.00 at the time of this review). The product is complete to include plane, radio, charger, and three batteries, and the material of construction for the plane (foam) is a great choice, as it is soft and pliable; the foam will not be damaged due to a crash. The plane includes two motors; one on each wing. The controls are such that to gain altitude, the motors will both speed up and the plane will climb. To turn, one motor will speed up more than the other motor. The problem with this plane is that it does not fly well. It is not possible to get the plane to level out; there is no adjustment to the placement of the battery, therefore no way to adjust the plane's center of gravity. To get the plane to function at all, it must be held in a perpetual stall. This makes flights slow and hard to control. It also just doesn't look right; a jet should be level and fast, rather than nose-high and hanging in a stall. This plane could be a lot of fun if if were revised to have an adjustable CG and utilize a low wing loading; I'm thinking an old biplane design. The simplicity and toughness are both attractive characteristics. The problem, as I've stated, is it just isn't fun to fly.

Doesn't work
Tried everything. Must be the engineering. Doesn't want to fly. You would think they would test these rings. Junk, don't buy

I love the size but flight wise it was bad
This thing has an interesting size, much smaller then the other 2 channel jets I have received. Sadly I had trouble getting this to fly properly. Gently hand launching with throttle resulted in it usually doing a backflip. I decided to put the front landing gear in to bring the nose weight up and same result. I then added some down elevator trim by bending the foam and this helped but it flew in a high alpha very poorly. I tried trimming some plastic off the back half of battery enclosure and removed half the battery case to reduce weight but nothing seemed to help. I tried both modes without any great flights, felt more like it wanted to dive toward ground continuously. Last crash resulted in the nose breaking which is the first time I have broken any of my 2 channel planes. Wouldn't suggest this unless you want a small plane to tinker with.
