Q: is it possible to replace the bag of this model to one that takes paper bags?

Yes, They make a bag that fits this with paper bags that fit into it. It worls well. We prefer the shake out bag but, its nice to have the option sometimes.

Q: Would this vacuum be good on wire like carpet you see at a convent store such as walgreens & be able to vaccume dirt, salt, leafs etc?

This is a wonderful vacuum, except that it doesn't come with any extra tools. I think it would definitely be able to vacuum the things you asked about.

Works good on hardwood and tile. Because it has excellent suction. Doesn't throw dirt around.
