The media could not be loaded.  This jacket if fairly decent but I hesitate to call it "good." The textile fabric is of good quality and comparable to other entry level and mid range jackets. Its comes with CE Level 1 armor for the shoulders and elbows though I would have liked to see CE Level 2 come with this but at least it comes with CE level armor at all. There's also convenient external pockets for putting in and taking out the shoulder and elbow armor. It also comes with the expected "replace it immediately with CE level rated armor" back/spine pad.The main issue here is the pocket for inserting back/spine armor is VERY small. I had to significantly fold the back pad and stuff it into it to get it into the pocket. I heavily question if one would be able to get actual CE rated armor into the back of this jacket considering that stuff, while flexible, is much thicker and stiffer. This makes me seriously question the level of protection you'll be able to provide with this jacket. Furthermore, at $98.88 it's a bit pricey for an entry level jacket when a HWK brand one is around $60, has similar quality to its construction, and while it doesn't have the convenient external pockets at least the back armor pocket can fit real CE rated armor without concern for tearing the pocket or it fitting at all. Due to this I've got to knock the product at least a point. I'm not saying don't buy it but definitely weigh your options in regard to the level of safety you are looking to eventually achieve versus price ratio.
