Coffee Pot & Mug Cleaner | Coffee Maker Cleaner and Stain Remover for Carafes, Cups, Mugs (Pack of 2)

Admittedly, I bought this thinking it was a coffee machine cleaner. It is actually intended just for your carafe and mugs. Not sure if it would work for the machine as well but I decided to play it safe and not use it for that purpose. I was about to send it back to exchange for an actual descaler but figured I should try to remove the completely black stains from my carafe. It worked so well! I thought the carafe was a goner but after using this product, my carafe looks nearly new! So glad I didn't send it back and now I'm looking forward to cleaning my hydro flasks as well.

Product was easy to use but did not completely eliminate the stains especially at the bottom of my stainless steel travel mug. It also took two applications along with some scrubbing with a brush to eliminate most of the stains on the inside wall of the mug. I was hoping it would just be a pour it in, let it sit and rinse type of product, but not that easy. We will try it on a glass coffee decanter at work next to see how it works on glass, hopefully better than stainless steel.

I followed the instructions and left my Yeti cup overnight. There was no difference. I tried 2 more times, the last using the solution with no hot water as they recommended. Each treatment I left over night. No treatment made even a slight difference. I put the plastic lid in the solution and it did lighten the coffee stain but not remove it. This solution is useless and a waste of money.

GREAT product!!! I use it to clean my metal Thermos mugs that I always use to drink coffee. I’m particular; I also have metal Thermos mugs that I use to drink tea and never mix the two. I had found, by accident, that coffee actually was better without the dark copper-colored film/stain that strong coffee leaves. It is as if the film sheds a sediment. And I had tried EVERYTHING - This DIY solution, that DIY solution, several commercial solutions. PRELLO is the one that works. However, I did have to modify the directions: Pour in solution and water as directed. Then let is sit for a couple hours. Then scrub a bit. The ‘pre-soak’ was the key and the stain came off EASILY with little effort on my part.

Say this product lifts brown stains, I followed directions and still had to scrub Stainless coffee cup. Used as directed and I mixed in carafe and let set still had to scrub hard with a brush and green scrubby. Not as easy as the ads say. . Wouldn't purchase again.

I was under the impression this product was for cleaning my ninja coffee maker and the instructions only talk about coffee mugs and the coffee pot container. Once again Amazons search engine sent me to a wrong purchase. Very upset with being mislead. I have a worthless product I can remove stains form a coffee pot and a mug but I can not get inside my coffee maker to remove the calcium from it and this product does not do that. Waste of my time and money!

My stainless coffe pot was very heavily stained. The interior was dark black. I followed directions twice but stains would not budge. However, on third try, decided to use more product and let it soak for hours. Finally, stains started lifting. After using almost an entire bottle, all stains gone.I am very happy with the product. I know my pot was extremely stained. Now that I have found product, I can use regularly to keep clean.

This product does a great job of cutting through built up coffee stains in glass carafes and other containers that carry a lot of coffee. It was fast - less than 2c minutes, easy and no after taste.
