East to adjust height, comfortable, compact, great looking

I definitely am NOT the person that "puts stuff together" in our home. I opened the box and there were less than 6 total items (the base, the shaft, the seat is one piece, the hex wrench & screws are in one package - I count that as one, the wheels that are sealed into their bag also count as one). I figured why not give it a try? I put the whole thing together in less than 20 minutes. Lost 5 minutes because I didn't realize I needed to take the cap off the shaft before attaching the seat, I couldn't get a very good grip (I don't have the best grip strength). The seat and seat back are a molded shape in one piece - like a dining chair. We've only had it for a few days, I can only say that so far it's better than the other desk chairs we've gotten for our teenager.The chair is on the pricey side, but it looks nice, feels nice and after putting it together, it feels worth it. Would totally recommend it.

Recently, the pneumatic lift on my gray omputer chair expired, and I've been sinking lower and lower. Happens: over time we all become flaccid.Time to buy a new chair. Bought the chair (gray) Amazon, can't remember when.Alas, I could not find the model of the old chair on Amazon website. 8-(Alas, hundreds of new models available. 8-SBought the new chair (green). By its advertisement photo, it has a certain aesthetic appeal.Evaluation: "Easy to assemble": yes, definitely. Took me about an hour, while drinking coffee and having a snack. Also fumbling the parts a few times. Like the cotton gloves which came free: made handling the parts easier. I recommend having a standard Swiss Army knife handy, as removing the plastic cap on the pneumatic tube yielded only to being cut off: not an easy pull."Ergonomic": depends on what is meant. Right now, I have the chair at the highest setting for height, which I'm enjoying: my innards are not compressed. If it means, the chair fits my posterior well: yes. OTOH, my old chair gave my me more spine support, and I can feel it in my neck. Certainly, I notice the difference immediately. How this difference will play out, I'll know better after I fall asleep a few times sitting in front of the computer. ;-)"Support": unclear. Can refer to my physical comfort (see previous), or to calling the company for assistance. If the latter, I had no need.

Very comfortable and doesn’t take up a lot of room. Love the color and design too. Highly recommend!
