You will get the best longevity and results with a dry application, but you most certainly can use it as a drying aid. You may see better results by claying the surface, but it is not necessary.

Can you apply the over a clear car that has recently been waxed with optimum car wax? also what style/ gsm rage to recommend to rub it in?
