Great for beginner roller skater
As a 58-year-old beginner roller skater, I knew there would be falls! And when they did happen, it sure was nice to have protection for my hips and tailbone. I also recommend wearing other protection as well (helmet, GOOD wrist guards, knee guards, and ankle guards). Happy skating 🛼🛼

Saved my tailbone
I took a chance at learning to snowboard this winter. Was recommended these and I am so thankful that I got them. They fit true to size and you want them to be snug. I purchased a size small and was still able to fit a pair of leggings comfortably underneath.

Fantastic buy.
Great value for the price point. In my case I only needed it once for snow boarding for a single weekend.Sizes worked out well following the instruction.I purchased for 4 diff people all were good. 4 different body types. But ended up using it a few more times for the BMX life. Washed well and reused. It was a 100% life saver/tailbone saver, it also provided a little warmth I wasn’t expecting but was glad it was there.

Size issues?
This is an odd review to write because I'm unsure of how to score this. I have a 34" waist, and based on their chart I should be an XXL. However I decided that was insane and some kind of misprint because I'm a large in EVERYTHING ELSE clothes wise (6'2" 185). So, I ordered the large anyways and figured I'd see how they fit when they arrived and thought they'd stretch. However, they sent an XXL instead of the Large . . . BUT - they seem to fit just fine. So they didn't send what I ordered, but somehow they knew and sent what I should have ordered. I feel like I should take a star off for that just for being confusing, so I am.In terms of build quality these are actually pretty good. I have another pair of these from a different manufacturer (Soared 3D) and these ones are nearly identical in style. The Soared pair is also XXL, but is way too big for me so go figure? In terms of cushioning, the Soared pair has pads that measure 2.1mm thick while these pads are much flatter and measure only 1.6mm thick. I actually prefer the thinner pads because I don't fall much (use these snowboarding) and don't need something terribly bulky.I do want to note that the Soared set has slightly longer horizontal pads above the hip pads than these ones do, and the Soared one also has an extra horizontal pad right above the tailbone pad on your lower spine. Even with those extra pads, the Soared pair of these is a buck cheaper and is less confusing size wise so I would probably purchase those again instead of these were I to need another set.

Decent enough!
For the price i dont expect much quality and was ready for size issues given the reviews for items like this. Surprisingly it did fit me well.

Mountain biking shorts 10/10
I needed some body proxy shorts after I took a nasty fall while mountain biking. I wore these and fell a lot! Guess what! They really protected my hips. I’m stoked. From the other reviews looks like they fray easy so I will HAND wash these. Game changer and life saver. 10/10 I picked small and they’re perfect. Tight but not too tight. Size small usually fits so I went with it and I’m happy with the fit.

Definitely lesses the impact on tailbone
I am an aging snowboarder who skated for years. I’ve bailed a few times recently and it’s aggravated an old tailbone injury. I got these pads to easy my mind and butt. I have fell with them on and they definitely eased the jarring pain.

Padding on point
This has literally saved my butt on more than one occasion. Learning hockey is tough at 40 and this has helped saved my tailbone.
