Merry Christmas Mom and Dad (A Golden Look-Look Book)

We love Little Critter, and this has a similar theme to most Little Critter books. Little Critter tries to help in his own little-kid like way, but of course runs into little-kid type problems. A great story for Christmastime, or for Little Critter fans year-round. Great way to start discussing with toddlers what went wrong and how to do it better. A fun, lighthearted, well-intentioned Little Critter book. :)

We love this book.

Such a cute book. I had to buy it when I saw it, because my mom read it to me as a kid. My 4-year-old loves finding the hidden grasshopper and spider on each page.

Another great addition to our little critter collection. It had me worried for a bit, that the kiddos would be inspired by the last page and unwrap / bring all their presents to our room at 5am Christmas morning. Thankfully that didn’t happen. Can’t wait to find other titles to add to the collection!

I bought this as a gift for my 34 year old brother. He got this book with its first publishing back in the mid 1980's, it was a book and tape set. He listened to it so much he had it memorized. He decided to "read" the book to his class, well the teacher caught on to him memorizing the book instead of reading it when he skipped a page while turning the pages. He has fond memories of this book so I thought I would replace his long lost favorite book.

Purchased this book for a 24 day countdown to Christmas. I wrap up 24 books and put them in a open box. Then Dec. 1st I let one of my grandchildren open a book then I read it to them. This way they learn to count, listen, take turns and wait. It is fun to do.

A cute book for kids at Christmas. Mercer Mayer always has fun illustrations and little critter is always trying to help but not quite getting it right. I love reading these books with my kids as it shows them they can keep trying and mom and dad will love you no matter what.

I love the little critter books and wanted a Christmas one for my daughter for one of her gifts. Great story, nice extra that it included bonus stickers. Fast shipping, very happy with the product.

Il piccolo Criceto creato da Mercer Mayer e' alle prese con il Natale: Le luci dell'albero, le palline di vetro, la stella-puntale ..... Lui vorrebbe aiutare ma combina un pasticcio dopo l'altro....in fondo e' un cucciolo e tutto gli viene perdonato! I disegni sono incantevoli e poetici, la storia e' semplice e anche se il lettore bambino non sa ancora leggere bene capira' tutto al primo colpo d'occhio, tanto le situazioni sono evidenti ( e... divertenti!). Avevo scoperto Mercer Mayer e il piccolo Criceto una trentina di anni fa, quando mia figlia allora di 3 anni smanettava col mio computer (era un CD Rom interattivo). Ora ho scoperto questi piccoli libretti, con colori bellissimi ed ad un prezzo accessibile e non ho resistito alla tentazione. La serie e' lunghissima e non manchera' l' argomento che preferite. Io ho acquistato i libri in inglese ( un inglese facile facile, non vi spaventate...) ma forse esiste in catalogo anche la versione italiana.

What a perfect little book for the year 1s! My daughter did the Mercer Mayer "Little Critter" books at school with her teacher and loved them so much she wanted me to get her some for bedtime reading. This particular one made such an impact, we are still reading it in March! Lovely illustrations and very sweet text. Recommended to all tender souls out there, the very young and the not-so-very-young.
