Disney Moana Tamatoa Musical Jewelry Box

The media could not be loaded. Definitely a cute and sturdy toy, we love Tamatoa at our house so this was the perfect gift for my daughter. The singing voice on it is pretty clear and it has survived three falls with no problems already.

Wonderful toy. My so turned 4 at the beginning of the month and has been obsessed with the “crab monster” and the song “shiny” since he first saw the movie. He had been carrying it around since we gave it to him and calls it his ‘treasure box’ and it is currently the home of his snail shell and rock collection. It’s already been dropped on our slate floors and concrete driveway many times and still works great. Very sturdy

My daughter loves Moana and especially 'Shiny' or Tamatoa with his musical number in the film. She wanted Tamatoa for her birthday but the options are very limited. We bought the funko pop Tamatoa (twice) but his arm broke off almost immediately both times as the item was very fragile. I found this and purchased it for her birthday (3) and I'm glad I did as it sings most of the song and has held up to her very rough toddler play for a few months now. She doesn't really use it as a jewelry box but there is a decent amount of space inside that it could serve that purpose for a child as well.

There aren't a whole lot of Tomatoa toys out there, but this was the perfect fit for a boy who was obsessed with the shiny song. The jewelry box feature wasn't really of use to us, but it was very cute for a kiddo who would like that. Super happy with the detail and features.

My son loves the crab and the shiny song from Moana. This was the perfect gift for him. It does not play the full song but it plays enough. Sometimes it is hard to open the crab but overall my son loves it. The ring is removable but we keep it with the crab. I wish it was a bit more shiny. 😉

My daughters absolutely love this toy. It’s held up well so far from them both playing with and dropping it. The hidden area is pretty small, but big enough to hold a some play jewelry or small treasures. There’s also a switch on the bottom for a short or long version of the song.
