Fermented Tea is good for the gut. After a round of antibiotics that killed an infection but also killed both bad and good gut bacteria, fermented foods were recommended to replace those good guys in my gut, and fermented tea was mentioned. Had never known about it and been drinking tea regularly for decades. This fermented black tea from Prince of Peace has now replaced the tea brands I've purchased. I still add almond or coconut milk and honey, and if one enjoys their black tea straight up then I recommend they give this quality tea a try.

This tea is a high quality black tea with low caffeine. It has great properties ( please read the specs). It also has a wonderful smooth taste.

Well, Mama read an article in a woman's periodical that extolled the health virtues of Pu-erh tea so I looks it up and found Amazon has many types of it from loose leaf to pressed cakes. The pre-bagged version is convenient and easy to serve. I have bought this brand in "green tea" before, so I didn't hesitate to buy this flavor. The taste is ok, nothing funky that you would expect from a fermented product. The tea is boxed "retail beautiful" and looks to be of good manufacture quality all the way around. The tea arrived in a plastic Amazon bag via USPS quickly and in perfect condition. Whether or not it has health benefits, who knows but when Mama wants a simple request like this, "No Problem".

I have been searching high and low for this tea and couldn't find it because I only know it by its cantonese name (bolay). Love this - I'm so happy! I think this should always be the default tea offered at dim sum. But now I can have it whenever I want. I love that it's not bitter, you really don't have to worry about steeping it too long because the flavor is not affected. And now I'm seeing that some "influencers" are touting the health benefits - even more reason to enjoy this tea.

First, seller was fast, package and presentation are good. Next, the tea, very strong taste and takes some time to aquire. Smells like muddy fish water. Yes, you read my title correctly - hang in there with me a minute.Finally, 2009 I was 220+ pounds. Over 4 years I lost 70 pounds. Since then I have consistently struggled to lose anymore weight. I exercise 3 times a day, I jog, I've jumped on every diet wagon that passes by. I've shamefully fallen for diet pills over and over to the tune of hundreds of dollars. Nothing makes the scale budge more than a few pounds and those pounds come right back. Previous to buying this tea I have been trying to live on 1000 calories or less a day for the last 2 months. No weight loss.Enter thanksgiving - the only holiday I look forward to! I struggled but maintained. Enter this tea - 7 days ago. 2 cups a day and weight is FALLING OFF. I mean, it's the flipping holidays. I've eaten cookies. I've gone to lunch with my hubby and had tacos and fries. I haven't been as diligent as normal with my workouts. Every day the scale says a little lower! I even put in new batteries to be sure! Every day I am a little more amazed and thrilled. I am so excited to see what happens now that the holiday buffet is over!I'm going to keep drinking this tea until I don't see these results anymore (which I hope is never). My ONLY complaint is I've had a SLIGHT headache due to the extra caffeine.
