The media could not be loaded. Well, this came just in time as I pulled a muscle in my lower back today. What a wonderful massager.At first, I thought it wasn't going to be any good as the massaging nodes were high up, I thought that maybe there were smaller ones in the lower parts. Anyway, I switched it on and I was amazed that the massage nodes move down to the bottom and back to the top reversing rotation every now and then, I really didn't expect that at this price point. (See attached video).You can do upper back, lower back or whole back BUT, there is an awesome feature and one that I used this evening, it's called "SPOT", you press this button and then use the arrow buttons to send the massage nodes to the area you want and it just stays there massaging that area, with the heat on it did my muscle the world of good.If it's a little uncomfortable you can pull the built in flap over and if it's still too much for you can add a towel or two.It will fit practically any style of chair, I have it in an arm chair.The backrest is made of a hard plastic which is just what it needs to keep it where it needs to be.The base vibrates if you want it too which I found quite relaxing.All in all, I don't think you'd beat this for the money.

I read lots of reviews of different massagers before buying this, and it's paid dividends - it's fantastic! Really well made and very customisable with different settings for intensity, vibration and heat levels. I've been suffering from a bad shoulder for weeks, no amount of pain killers were working. In the end I purchased this massage pillow. The first time I used it the next day it was really painful but I tried it on the gentle massage. After a few days I can feel an improvement . Iam really pleased I persevered with the massager . The heat function is good, MY pain is now bearable hopefully as I use the machine more there will be even more improvement. Don't really understand about the flaps but I am still getting the benefit from this massage pillow. Thank you.

I thought initially the massager was ok, but found it annoying because I had to move it up and down in order to get the whole of my back massaged. I’ve now returned the item and replaced it with a bigger one. Been waiting several days for my refund. So I have no idea what’s happened to the item.

This device is a triple-threat. Vibrating massage, heat, and active kneading 'Shiatsu" style massage. I've had other similar deviced and they don't have the power to do actual work on your back or shoulders. This unit surprised me. The rotating 'shiatsu' balls are hard to stop, even pushing back against the device with significant force, they keep turning. The convenient corded remote allows you to change the heat, vibration and massage settings, including the rotational direction of the shiatsu part!Overall I recommend this device if you have lower back pain or fatigue. You might be tempted to take this in the car but it's got a household plug and also I don't believe it would be safe to do so. Still highly recommended!

This massage chair pad will definitely work on some of the superficial kinks in your back. To target the lower back, you may need to sit on a few pillows to prop yourself up but it's worth it. The two different intensity settings are nice, allowing you to customize how hard you want the massage. The heating feature is nice and works well. I don't really care for the vibration feature in the seat but for some, it may be nice. It's not too clunky and super easy to use.
