Triphala capsule - a natural remedy for improving digestion
This is a review of " Nutrapeak Ayurveda Triphala Vegan Non-GMO Gluten Free Soy Free 120 Capsules[As a vine reviewer, I am pledging not to be compensated or influenced by the vendor; I state my opinions based on my personal experience without any bias or pressure][I am not a doctor and therefore the review below should be viewed against this disclaimer]If you are into holistic healing you have probably heard of an ancient method of healing called Ayurveda. This particular natural powder (in a capsule form in this version) is derived from three important ingredients, all of which are natural. These are : Amla (Indian Gooseberry), Harada (also known as Haritaki) and Bahera (also known as Bibhitaki or Vibheetaki). These are naturopathic products that are aimed at improving digestion and generally do not have any side effects unlike some allopathic remedies. This particular product comes in large capsules and the recommended dosage in twice a day. The effects are hard to measure. So, one has to go by other credentials such as the purity of the product and the manufacturing process, etc. In this case, although this is an India product, the production is done in a European Country (Latvia). So, one can expect a fairly high standard of quality in the manufacturing process. The labeling is clear and I think this is a good version of Triphala if you are into non-chemical remedies. My experience with this version of Triphala is that it worked as expected! The price is the only factor that is a bit high.On balance, I am happy to give it four stars.

Great for maintaining bowel movements but pricey
At the time of review this item retails just under $26.I have used triphala for a while, it's a common Ayurvedic medication to help cleanse you to remove toxins from your body, and it's part of a Virechana therapy.Pros- Works exactly has the last bottle (different) brand I was using- Virtually no taste- No burps after taking it- Very mild "laxative", it's intended to regulate your body- This is the "classic"recipe with AmlaCons- Not a great value. Very Pricey for 120 pills, there are other brands on amazon for less than half with the same recipe.- Can't find a justification for their much higher price (Quality, Potency all seems on par with others)If I were to purchase again, likely would try another brand with much better value.

May have many health benefits. No adverse affect taking this
No positive/adverse reactions to this so I don't know if it's actually working. Now I always start these supplement with one capsule to see if it has any negative side effects so that can be why I've yet to see any results but labeling is clear, expiration date is clear and bottle is well sealed. It's a capsule so it really didn't tasted like anything

easy to take
I have been taking Triphala for a couple of years and it helps w my digestion and bowel habits. But willing to try another brand. I have not noticed any difference from the brand that is working well, so assume this is as well. No aftertaste, easy to swallow, recommends w meals. I had been taking on empty stomach so that is a change for me. Satisfied

Historical Indian formula for wellness
Triphala is a traditional Indian formula for various digestive and other health benefits that you can find on the web. It consists of 3 dried and pulverized fruits: Amalaki, Bibhitaki and Haritaki. (If you lick its capsule content, it tastes moderately sour.)The label suggests taking 2 capsules a day preferably with food or as directed by a healthcare professional. But if you have never taken triphala, you may like to start with a small amount to see how your body reacts to it. Known side effects of triphala include abdominal cramps, stomach upset and diarrhea.I have not had any positive/adverse experience yet with this, but I'll post an update otherwise.Thank you for letting me share my experience with this product.
