The product info seems careful not to actually state battery life. The user information sheet that comes with the product says around 8 hours at 100% brightness. First full charge gave me about 2.5 hrs on high. Second full charge gave me about 5 hours on high.I like this little light as an aid for taking notes during astronomy sessions. The battery life is good enough for my needs especially if I don't need to use the high setting.It is very small/light weight and will stand on its own without being clipped to something.I might buy a second one as a backup.

I love this little booklight. It cast a very nice glow that allows for reading but is gentle on the eyes and relaxing. I find that I can read at night and get sleepy naturally without worrying about a bright light keeping me away. Good long battery life as well. I recommend highly.

I have admit I didn't really realize this light was ONLY red. For some reason I thought it had a variety of colors! So I turned it and and thought "huh??" But then I read the description again and realized that it's purposely red for a reason. This is a tool for people trying to reduce their blue light exposure, especially at night.Once you get used to the weirdness of the red, you may fall in love with this light. It is a lot less bothersome to somebody else sleeping in the bed next to you. It also really does make an impact on your body, allowing you time to read without stimulating your eyes and brain in the way that white or even slightly yellow light does.Know what you are getting, which is a very different experience from a regular book light!The USB charging is an awesome features, because finding AAA batteries that are fully charged is almost impossible in my house (we only have rechargeables). The neck is nice and flexible, and the clip part is easy to use. Overall a fantastic light for night reading.Highly recommended.

I ordered this because there are situations where I have needed a portable light to read something while sitting in the car at night. The clip is convenient because I can just clip it to the side of any book I want to read or somewhere close to the book and then just press the power button on top of the light to select one of the 3 brightness levels. First press is the dimmest setting, the second press is medium brightness and the third press is the brightest level. I'll probably only use the brightest level since the others don't seem quite bright enough for me. When reading the Bible in a dark room, I can see the words in black font fine but the Words of Christ that are in red are not a little harder to read with the red light. I believe red light is supposed to be easier on the eyes when reading so I suppose that's a plus. The light will work to read in anywhere where it is dark but it would be nice if the light had a white light option also for situations where I have to read different colored texts or just want a little more light.

I was looking for a reading light that is “Blue Light-Free” and this does exactly that. I missed the fact that RED is the ONLY color it provides. It took a little getting used to, but now I find it really rather relaxing. All other aspects of this light are very similar to other clip on, rechargeable lights.

I didn’t read the description well enough so I was surprised when it came and the light was red. But I love it! Works great. Easy to use. And has helped my reading addiction :)
