Good, but small
I ordered this firepit because it is similar to a larger version of another one I own and I wanted to see how it would compare. It looked nice out of the box and came with a nylon carry bag. I like that the center stack for burning pellets is connected to the ash tray so it won’t get lost. It burns as well as others I’ve used, but does have a shorter burn time because of its size. This can be overcome by adding very small amounts of pellets every so often. But be sure not to fill higher than the center vent stack.I would recommend this for someone who wants a very small firepit. It’s definitely not for tabletops as the bottom gets too hot, but is great on the ground or some other non-flammable surface.

You need to work too hard to keep the fire buring
I spent an afternoon outside in a relatively warm Chicago December smoking a cigar with this burning in the background. My conclusion is it is well made and very giftable but it takes a lot of attention to keep it burning.I started by collecting all the fallen twigs in my yard and eventually accumulated a pile about the size of a shoebox to start. I added a little fire starter twine and then broke the twigs into 3 inch lengths and added those to the stove up to the top and lit it up. This lasted about 15 minutes during which time, I snapped more twigs for the ready pile. By the time I had a second batch of twigs ready, I needed to feed them into the stove because the original burn was running out. This went on 2 or 3 more times until my pile was gone. So that was about a 40-60 min burn. OK if you want to roast marshmallows but not very maintenance free if you want a centerpiece/conversation piece to add a little mood to the outdoors. So I combed the yard again, broke up the twigs and needed to add more starter twine and begin again. This pulled me away from the stove and any sort of conversation I was engaged in around my outdoor fire circle. So I would say, this is something you might use as a novelty when you already have a supply of pre sized 3" twigs ready to go and just acknowledge this stove might only be a part of the party for less than an hour. That said, I was able to light my cigar off it a few times, it gets pretty hot so you can warm your fingers nicely but touching the metal will burn you. It is also easy to clean and because it is small, it concentrates the heat well enough to completely burn all the twigs. So it does what it advertises and is a nice looking item. It just is a little high maintenance for me to use every time I want a little open flame.

Cool little pit
Very cool little fire pit. With the emphasis on little! It’s really cute. But it needs small kindling to burn.

OK Mini Fire Pit
I thought this would be fun to have out on our wooden deck and table on a cold winter night with some hot drinks. It came with a nice bag to hold the three fire pit parts. It seems well constructed, and the parts fit together easily, though without instructions you can easily reverse the top (I’m not sure it matters which way you put it on).To safely use it on wood you should put a good fire mat on top of your table. Most of these mats will protect your wood from caching on fire from the sparks and embers, but they don’t protect the wood from the heat coming off the fire pit. They typically recommend a 10” gap from the bottom of the fire pit to the mat. One way of getting the gap is to put the fire pit on bricks then on top of your mat. Instead of making a brick tower for this small fire pit I chose to put the fire pit on top of a heat shield pad which I put on top of the fire mat.It wasn’t too hard to get the fire started, I have a lot of small twigs to put in the fire pit. As with any fire, it was really smoky when the fire was starting. Once going, it did seem to be “smokeless”. After there were hot embers inside and a good flame, I did check the temperature. The sides were extremely hot (don’t touch!), but the bottom wasn’t nearly as hot (still don’t touch!). When burning, the flames can get much higher then the pit, and the flame gives off more heat than the side. I fed the pit with wood maybe every 5 minutes. When you are ready to go back inside it would be nice if it came with a lid you could put on top so you wouldn’t have to babysit it as long. The next day I cleaned it out and you can see that the really high temperature from the pit stops a few inches from the bottom (because the flame doesn’t go down that low). It’s not too messy to clean up over an ash can. I did notice that the internal parts and were a little tighter to re-assemble after the fire. It’s an OK fire pit. Depending on where you put it you’ll need some additional supplies to use it safely.

Great little stove, careful of sharp edges
The media could not be loaded. This stove/heater/mini fire-pit works very well. With dried kindling and small twigs, it is very easy to get the fire started. There is plenty of airflow from the interior design which keeps the smoke produced to a minimum. The fold out feet keeps the bottom allows for stability. Once the stove is used, the stainless steel changes to a nice color giving it a unique look. The only reason I deducted a star is because of the very sharp surfaces of the stove edges. It helps to run a wire brush to dull the sharp edges to keep your hands from getting cut up. Otherwise, it is a great product.

Tabletop Fireplace
This is a small but mighty fire pit. Perfect for balconies or small patios. Make sure to have a fire mat and extinguisher handy as always. But it’s a little hit bigger around than a 2L bottle. Had removable internals and seems easy enough to clean. The size of the fire is limited by the capacity of the canister so that’s “fool-proof”. Just remember the metal will get HOT so don’t handle it immediately after or during a lit fire. Overall cool piece of kit.
