I normally don't write reviews because all most all purchases I have done with Amazon were like, " fine, I take it because I don't walk to the UPS store to return," But This desk is far above what I expected!! It is nicely designed and made. The assembly was so easy because the merchant numbered each item on the package, and as well they did it on the instruction.I am not handy, but I did it with my bare hands! ( So proud of myself too)The size is perfect for a small apartment but yet large enough for a lot of work stuff. You can stretch your legs underneath the desk. It is sturdy, stylish, and functions well at an affordable price. And height is perfect too. So, shopper, go for this desk if you need one home office desk. To the merchant, keep up the quality! Only a little suggestion, if the side bag can be under the desk, it will be even nicer. Good work.

First I want to thank all of the previous reviewers who mentioned that the screw might come through the top of the desk if tightened to much. Because of this I use washers to prevent that from happening. I was able to tighten the screws completely. Assembly was quick and easy without referring to the instructions. The desk was the perfect size for my bedroom and was large enough to easily hold my 27" all in one computer monitor, keyboard and mouse.The desk arrived a few days earlier than stated. Very happy with this purchase.

*Update* - after writing this review, I was contacted by customer service and this was immediately rectified. I was assured that this was not the quality of product they sell and it may have gotten damaged during shipping. The customer service is superb with this company and they offered to send an upgraded replacement free of charge. I was told I did not have to send back the old one, which was great because I wouldn't even be able to repackage it the way it was delivered. This was very unexpected and if I can take away anything from this is that their customer service is wonderful, that alone warrants a 5 star. The replacement desk is the same style but larger and it was perfectly packed and shipped. No issues with the desktop this time and truth be told, it is a very sturdy desk, yet light weight. The height is perfect for me and the additional side pocket helps me keep the desk top clean and organized. If you need a large desk but not anything bulky, this is definitely a good buy. The 47" desk I was sent is able to fit two 27"monitors and a laptop centered, a desk phone and with a generous amount of frontal room for a full sized kb and mouse.This table came with a scratch on the table top, didn't see it until the last steps of the instruction when I had to bolt the frame on it. The box it arrived in was really beat up and overlap with tape, so it leads me to believe that it was a return or open box. It is very simple to assemble which was good, but some parts were not exact. The hex key did not fit a few of the bolts so I wasn't able to give it a good tighten. The side had tears on the holes where it needs to be screwed into the table. The only reason I am tolerating it, is because it would be a pain to disassemble, repackaged and then sent back. Word to the wise, check all parts before assembling.

I bought the 55" desk in Walnut to improve my home workspace (since my wife claimed our actual office years ago).On the whole, it is working well. At 55", I am able to fit 3x24" monitors (the two on the ends have to be turned a bit, which is what I'd do, anyway). The approximate 2' depth is sufficient, although if I put the desk against a wall, the leg room leaves something to be desired (I'm 6'3" and have long legs).Assembly was easy. I did it alone and would have been done in < 15 minutes if it weren't for a quality control issue that left me hung up for a while. On the plus side, the instructions are clear, the assembly hardware is well labeled, the only tool required (an allen wrench) is included, and they included some extra hardware, which is always nice. The down side is one of the holes on the long bars that support the desk top did not much up with any of the threaded holes on the desk top. I tried every combination, and there was simply no way to get a bolt through those holes and into the threads -- it was off by maybe 5mm, but that was enough. I considered widening the holes on the bar, but I ultimately concluded that was more effort than I wanted to expend. I don't feel the missing bolt compromises the sturdiness in any way.In addition to the misalignment problem described above, there was also one bolt which was solid and lacked the opening to allow the allen wrench to grip -- it was just a solid head. I briefly considered running to the garage to get tools to work around this, but I ultimately put that bolt in a place where I concluded it wasn't important and just hand tightened it as best I could. Unfortunately, that was not one of the bolts that included extras.For those two minor QC annoyances, I knocked off a star. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It looks like particle board, but for a 55" desk for < $100, I wasn't expecting something that looked like real wood. And, as far as particle board desks go, this one looks pretty decent. And, again, despite one missing bolt and one hand-tightened bolt, it is very sturdy.I really thought I'd have no use for the storage pouch, but I wound up tossing it on, and I've actually found it fairly useful for storing various items I occasionally need but don't want to keep on the desk.For the money, I consider this a good value. The only thing that might make me consider an alternative if I needed another desk is the poor quality control. Then again, one of the things that prompted me to purchase this was the high ratings, and based on them, I'm guessing that issues like those I encountered are the exception and not the rule.Update---------------------We had a need for another desk in the basement, and this just happened to be on sale at the time. Despite the QC problems, I went ahead and ordered another. I'm happy to report there were no issues with the second desk. Everything lined up. If the first had worked that well, I'd probably have given it five stars. Having had the bad experience with the first one, though, I'm leaving the review at four stars -- it's sturdy, it looks reasonable for the price, and it's simple to put together. Quality control remains a concern. I probably wouldn't have bought the second if it hadn't been on sale.

Perfectly rectangular desk works very well in small spaces.Very easy to assemble. More than 1 size available.
