Really nice seed starting mix! It’s light and fluffy and works really well. I use this stuff every year and it never disappoints. I rarely find sticks in it. Seeds germinate quickly and stay in good health when using this product.

I’ve been using this product for quite a few years and have been ordering thru big box stores but found this and you can normally buy as many here that equals the same amount for less. Fine soil mix. Very very few wood particles if any. Has perlite mixed in as well to maintain moisture. Seeds start well. Con: water drains thru fairly quick. Suggestion, soak and soak again before sowing seeds.

A very nice seed starting mix. Easy to use and seeds had no issues germinating. No off-odors or odd materials. And the bag size will be just right for several years of seed starts.

but I think using the black and gold potting soil that has 0.5/0/0 works better. Its essentially the same thing, but has a small amount of word castings and doesnt have the yucca extract. It works great for outdoors since it has the yucca, but I feel like the cannabis seeds I put in the standard potting soil worked better....but I only used that other stuff indoors. I'd assume that it would dry out to fast...possibly. This seedling mix does hold water very well outdoors. Which is pretty important since you don't want things drying out on your seedlings while you are at work.

It’s really good quality and works great! All my plants and flowers love it. I mix it with raised bed/gardening dirt to make it more sturdy and space-fillable, so the roots can be more sturdy, and there’s not a lot of air pockets. This stuff is very light and fluffy, so it’s perfect for seedlings. But when you’re in the teenager stage for plants and beyond, you need to mix it with something else. But the consistency and texture and color are all perfect. It has just the right nutrients for helping new plants grow. And when you add fertilizer, flowers just take off! All of my stuff is thriving since I switched to this mix.

It's very lite and fluffy. It took a few seconds for the water to soak in. I'll update after sprouting. It's very clean. Bug free and easy to use. Good value for the money. 1 bag filled 2 12"x7" planter boxes.

Never did I think I would be here on the internet ranting and raving about dirt. But this is some of the lightest, fluffiest dirt I’ve ever touched. Not a lot of chunky stuff, like twigs. Haven’t seen a bug yet. I just started using it, so I don’t know how well it works. But it seems like some pretty nice dirt.
