I used this once, today. It made my hair straight but left it frizzy. I’m probably going to return it. Maybe I will try it one more time to make sure before I do. I have thick coarse hair that tends to get frizzy. I was hoping to find a flat iron that might work better than the cheap old one I have now. This one didn’t work any better than my cheaper brand.

In the item description it states for Wet or dry hair. The instuctions that come with this item say to dry hair thoroughly.

After having this flat iron for 3mnths I plugged it in and it went out. Did not turn on again. Waste of $45.

I bought this product to replace my old straightening iron. I was particularly looking for one that can be used for wet & dry hair, and decided to buy this. After going thru so many flat irons (drugstore, high-end, unknown) I would say that I am really surprised and happy with this one. It heats up to 450F really fast. I used it at 400F, But it doesn’t feel like it at first because you can actually still touch the outer part of the plates without burning your fingers. But once you run it thru your hair, that’s when you’ll feel that it is 400F. I have thick, coarse hair and this straightened it really well. It will not give you that pin-straight kind, but I am happy with it. It didn’t fry my hair. It left my hair looking healthy and shiny. I don’t know for how long it will last me, but I do hope it will go for years.Also, I would like to commend NITION’s great customer service. They kept in touch after I have received the product, and told me about the warranty AND the extended warranty. They are also sending me a free paddle brush. I have bought quite a bunch of stuff in amazon, but this is the first time someone from a company’s customer service actually reached out by messaging me about warranty and other concerns without me initiating it. I am a very happy customer.

Love this flat iron . Heats up super fast. Before I even have time to prep my hair with heat protection spray. Love the colour . More of a coppery rose. The curved outer barrel is awesome for those perfect loose curls. Many people say they accidentally turn it off but you have to press and hold to power down so that hasn't been an issue for me. The company itself is wonderful and courteous. I would recommend and when the time comes long from now I will repurchase. It seems very well made though so that might take a long while. I just love it .

First of all I must say that my hair is rebellious, mega thick, with a tendency to be grumpy and falls out easily. In short, it's the bush! To tell the truth, if they were tied up without being stretched, they keep the fold when I untie them. It is therefore imperative for me to have a smoothing iron.This iron heats up super fast. The temperature is adjustable ( -/+ ) it reaches 450°C in less than 5 minutes. It is thin and very light, which suits me perfectly because wider irons are heavy after 15 minutes of smoothing. So no arm pain with this iron! When I finish stretching my hair, it is soft, fine, glossy and without volume. I'm really satisfied and it is an excellent value for money!* The photo was taken 1 year and a half after the purchase. After 2 weeks of use I can confidently say that this flat iron isn't anything special. The colour and appearance of the iron is beautiful with the rose gold, but it is instantly ruined by the writing on the surface. That information could have easily been placed on a tag on the cord. The cord itself showed was not well designed because it would get coiled up after a couple of uses.The display shows that the iron can heat up to 450 degrees F, but it doesn't feel like it gets as hot. When it comes to straightening hair, there are far better irons out there. This one is just not very powerful and the results are similar to blow drying your hair, minus the volume. When curling my hair, I noticed that my curls are looser and limper than the curls I achieve using different irons.All in all, very disappointed, but it goes to show that you get what you pay for.

I got this particular straightener because it has argan oil so it would be less damaging to my hair. I have to say, it is an amazing product!!! My hair was falling out way less while straightening, it was soft, well straightened, sturdy and comfortable design, great heating range and well-made plates. Overall, I am so glad I went with this particular product!! There are probably better ones out there but for this price, it doesnt get better than this!!!

Easy to use and self explanatory. I use this on the ends of my hair so that it won't curl outwards in the morning. The plates are very low friction and glide effortlessly over my locks of hair to straighten them and makes my hair more shiny. Better than what I use currently from the drug store. Also, I enjoy the stylish copper design!

Not happy with this straightener at all. I have curly hair and even after putting in product, pulling it Straight and letting it dry naturally while using a round brush to pull it while straightening my hair still turned out frizzy and didn’t straighten very well. This might be a good straightener people with wavy or fine hair but it did not work well for me at all. I’m very disappointed as it has some of the best reviews And I did my research on it. I would definitely recommend sticking to buying professional straighteners from salons.

Great iron, super easy to use and it reaches high temperature super fast. I love the results in my hair and I am terrible using this stuff. It is good for dry hair and wet hair too (but not too wet).

Delivery was very fast so that was great. The flat iron so far has exceeded my expectations. Love it. Heats up fast and the plate size is great because you can place larger chunks of hair. So far I am pleased and the Rose Gold color is so pretty !For the price - I wouldn't think twice about it..

Perfect size! Nice flat iron. Handles well, not heavy and the hook on the cord is handy for storage. Heats up fast and does a good job. Just wish the controls were on the inside. I’ve turned it off accidentally once when using it.

When new, the product was decent. Straightening and curling hair as needed but the plates do not glide smoothly over the hair. The cord is strange - it holds tension and is never able to straighten out. After using this item about 2 to 3x per month (purchased in December), the item stopped working in April. I am hoping that the seller can rectify this issue for me as the item stopped working after very few uses.

I switched from a steam straightener to this one and it’s amazing. You don’t have to go over your hair several times for it to be straight. Leaves your hair feeling silky. I’m only giving it 4/5 as it can be quite slippery especially if you have product on your hand and you don’t want to accidentally touch the top of the iron as it will burn you.

This has become my absolutely favorite hair straightener I've had in a long time. It works amazing, as good as salon straighteners. Plus its half the cost, and it automatically turns off after so long. Highly recommend this straightner

Have to say...I just ordered yesterday and received in less then 24 hours. Being excited for it, I plugged it in right away and tried it out, and I'm am more then impressed with it, heats up quickly too. And might I add its a pretty sweet looking flat iron.

I like that there is a specific temperature control as my hair is quite fine and I need to use it on the lowest temperature setting. I do have a challenge of not inadvertently increasing the temperature control as I am styling my hair.
