I bought this for my granddaughters birthday. So having downloaded the app it worked straight out of the box, within seconds we were looking at insects and human hairs. Amazing in that she has a sight impairment but because it was produced onto the phone she had a clear picture of what we looked at. It will help with her biology projects at school,so all in all we are happy. A good gadget.

Bit disappointed with this unit as range of view is very small and app quality not great. Also trying to hold microscope steady and orientatefor correct view difficult. May be better with stand ?. Gone and ordered a hand held magnifying glass instead.Update : purchased an aluminium stand and put to good use identifying water damaged components on my smartphone. The stand made all the difference.

Brought this for the kids so they can get into the microscopic world and they have both really enjoyed using it to make small things come into view! I then found out that actually it is fab for using to zoom in on pcb circuit components to read the details off them of your eyes aren’t great. For the money really worth it I would say.

I got this for my daughter. She's had a great time finding all sorts of things and viewing them under this microscope. As it connects to a tablet, it's a lot easier to see use than a traditional optical microscope, and the image quality is great.

Advertised to offer up to 1600X magnification but upon using the device only offers 200X.

I have used it with me iPhone 15 pro max and it does what it claims to be. Picture quality is fine cants complain really and the best thing is its compatible with both iPhones and androids. Well worth the price I paid

The resolution is poor, the light is poor and the focus is poor. There is not a single redeeming feature that makes this microscope at all useful.

So, I have a microscope that is similar to this one, but it connects to a PC using USB-A... And that's been fun, but its also been annoying due to having so much equipment to haul around if you want to look at something with it. That's why I thought it might be fun to get one that connects to your phone. The kids and I had a great time walking around the house looking at things up close. It felt a bit like the movie "honey I shrunk the kids" looking at all these things around our house. It gets pretty wild, like sometimes its a bit disgusting what you see in that hidden tiny world we have no idea about. Anyway, look at my pictures and try to guess what I took pictures of with the scope. Se usa facilmente con iphone y android. Y tiene un regulador de la intensidad de luz. He cogido un soporte fijo para sujetarlo y es muy comodo de usar.
