Not strong enough
My wife and I like a vanilla shot in our coffee so we have purchased bottles of Monin and the one Sainsbury's sell. Both were comparable in flavour, so I assumed all vanilla syrups were created equal. The 1 litre Giffard syrup therefore seemed good value.On screwing the cap a strong vanilla aroma is present. This unfortunately doesn't transfer to the coffee. There is a soft vanilla warmth but it is too subtle for tastes born of other brands.
