Good product very reasonable price will order again . If ordering allow extra days for delivery . Not the Sellers fault as my last order was dispatched same day as order.the courier then decided to send it on a tour of England from Manchester to Luton the back Cheshire the over the Pennines to Sheffield Then it left Sheffield then not sure where it went but returned to Sheffield the following day. Then finally delivered to my home in Doncaster 4 days late.

Provides a good source of fibre. Pleasant taste but hard to mix and dissolve fully.

This product contains - Irradiated Ispaghula Husk (Plantago Ovata) 3.5g, Pregelatinised Starch, Citric Acid Monohydrate, Natural Flavouring, Sweetener (Aspartame), Colour (Beta-Carotene).That 'other branded one' contains-3.5g Ispaghula Husk B.P. in an Orange Flavoured Base containing Aspartame E951 and Saccharin Sodium Sweeteners, Potassium Bicarbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Polysorbate 80, Silica Colloidal Anhydrous, Citric Acid and Beta - Carotene and Riboflavine Sodium Phosphate Colouring.That other branded one is normally twice the price.Not a strong taste, just like weak kids orange juice.I mixed it in a sports drink type bottle and shook it for 30 seconds. Not at all gritty when I mixed it this way.Drink a full glass of water or more after each dose, it helps the process , don't take more than it says thinking it will help, it won't ,it will do the opposite .It works by absorbing water in the bowel and so increasing the bulk of the stool hleping regulate bowel movement. It also softens the stool, reducing straining, so if you take too much I don't think you will get the result you were hoping for .

I like the fact that this is cheaper than the Fybogel and I like the way it works in exactly the same way. It also mixes reasonably well if you give it a short whisking. I do have to say that the taste is just very bland and does not encourage you to want to take any more. The taste is nothing like the branded version. To be honest it does not taste like anything I have ever tasted before!I have tried a full box of these and decided that I will not be buying anymore because the original Fybogel tastes far better and does mix much easier. I suppose we really do get what we pay for.

Doesn’t mix as well as fibrogel and lacks the orange flavour it mentions but cheaper and works ok

These work just as well as the other branded choice.Best not to dilute too much to offer any taste. ( other reviews state taste isnt very strong )A good stir dissolves the powder adequately. Then drink another glass of water to dilute it more. ( this thickens when ingested so needs adequate water to allow the solution to coat whats been eaten.)Recommended option that works well...
