Henschel HatsMen's Aussie Mesh Breezer Hat

This hat is great and ticks all the boxes when you are looking for a hat that will keep your head cool in the summer. But the only thing the manufacturer fails to mention is, the sweat band is made of a very course material, this will chaff your forehead and make it sore, especially if you've got sunburn. I experienced it myself as I've worked in the Middle East for over twenty years, in some of the most inhospitable places on this earth. Otherwise it's a great hat, it's just the sweat band lets it down and thats why I've only given it a 3 star rating.

It basically checks all the boxes you need from hat at very reasonable price.- Materials used, stitching and design is high quality.- It’s totally packable.- And, most importantly it looks awesome. You can wear it in city, park, hike or beach.- It features SPF+50 sun protection.- It has 3” wide brim which provides adequate protection.- Top part is meshed which provides good air circulation.- It has nice chin cord.- It’s Made in USA.I bought for the trip to Cancun and even though I love it, I need to return it for replacement as it is little smaller for me. Make sure you make accurate head measurement and if your measurement is on the borderline, go to the next size. Amazon doesn’t have size chart on the listing page so I used the size chart on Henschel website and it seems I should have picked larger size as My measurement was on the border. I am taking one start off as manufacturer should be include proper sizing information while listing their product and customers should not be looking for this information somewhere else.

Third one I've purchased in the past 10 years, great for outdoor work, hiking, kayaking, sporting events. Durable, cool to wear becausr of blow though circulation design. Still wear all 3 hats. Only the ten year old one is showing the wear in the front brim, where I grab it to put it on and off. The multi layer brim stitching has worn out is starting to unravel slowly. Going to try to have a shoe maker restich the multi layer cotton drill brim so I can continue wearing it. I just toss it in the washer to clean it up once every few months or so & hange up to dry Great product well worth the $$.

I'm new to the wide brim hat thing. Having always worn a baseball type hat when out working in the sun, this is new for me. I'm finding that I'm more susceptible to heat stroke than I use to be. I started with a dollar store straw hat that was a little tight for my big balding head. Right away I found the value in the wide brim. Much cooler! I decided I wanted to try a wide brim but it had to be cool. I found this breezer hat here on Amazon with the mesh sides so I figured I'd give it a try. My measurements said I was right on the border between LG and XL so, as suggested, I chose the larger size. It fits well. Just a touch loose but comfortable. I have not so far tried adding any sizing inside the sweat band. It is a very well built good quality hat. It was shipped in a plastic bag inside a large Amazon box with lots of inflatable shipping baggie thingies so it arrived with no damage. Great hat. No complaints! 👍

I am not a hat guy but traveling to South Africa and Israel I need to by one. I bought the Henschel mesh breezer following some reviews. Do not wast time and buy this hat. It is so amazing, light, foldable and cool on your head. The 3 inch rim around make a bid difference when the sun hits hard. I could not travel or walk in the sun without the Henschel hat anymore. Congrats to the team at Henschel for have made this fantastic product.

El mejor sombrero que puedes utilizar en actividades para exteriores, me ha salvado de quemaduras, debes tomar en cuenta que el ala es muy ancha, a algunas personas eso les parecerá anti estético, personalmente, me agrada bastante, al tener malla no estás sudando mientras lo utilizas, es compactable pero no lo recomiendo por mucho tiempo ya que pueden quedar marcas o perder su forma

Materiales muy buenos, excelente Calidad. Me llegó en un sobre y aunque el sombrero es técnicamente deformable, sí llegó un poco maltratado pero manualmente se corrige casi al 100%. No es muy preciso que se maneje la talla en S, M, L o XL. Es mejor en Número. Yo soy talla 7 1/4 y compré talla L y me quedó ligeramente grande. Debí comprar talla M.

Had a similar hat that I thought I really liked. When it was worn out I bought this hat to replace it. I love this hat!! Quality seems second to none at this very reasonable price. Takes a little longer to break in but I’m hoping that speaks for its longevity.

I hate wearing hats. I also hate skin cancer. I wear this hat while playing golf. Mostly it is so light and cool that I forget I'm wearing a hat, but after a while the sweat band does get a little warm. It is more comfortable by far than wearing a cap in the sun. It is a good looking, high quality hat - exactly as advertised. I generally take a 7 1/4 hat. I ordered the large and it fits perfectly.

The hat size I ordered fit as expected, using the head measurement instructions provided. The hat is sturdy and comfortable, with a wide brim as a sunhat should have. The mesh crown helps my head stay cool on hot days! No packing suggestions came with the hat and I could not find any on the Henschel website, so I simply flattened it in my carry-on on a recent trip. After being packed several times, the hat is beginning to show crease marks in the crown. Based on that, I'm not sure how durable this hat is as a "packable" one.

I like everything about this hat. It is well made with a wide brim that keeps the sun from frying my head like an egg cracked on concrete. Being an outdoor person...gardening, boating, ATV'ing...the hat is perfect and, with the cotton mesh top, there's a cooling affect with air being able to circulate. Thank you Henschel Hats!!

I love this hat. I wore it almost all summer while paddle boarding or just outside in the sun. It holds it’s shape really well, I took it away in my suitcase with no issues.Because the top is a little like mesh (just with the hole not the texture) some sun does get through, but not very much.

casual enough for beach wear and nice enough to wear for city strolling. Packs flatter for suitcase. Neck tie strings on hats are essential for times when wind is blowing hats off. Highly recommend.

Wow! Just received my Henschel Aussie packable summer hat. It's perfect! Perfect fit, excellent color and the craftsmanship is first rate. Have been wearing Tilley hats for years and I hate to admit it it, but this Henschel blows them out of the water. Highly recommend them for the quality alone. This really made my day.

Just got back from a Caribbean vacation & my head would have been burnt to a crisp if not for this hat !! Packed it flat in my luggage & it retained it's shape with a few pushes. Very pleased with purchase !!
