This is made from a true corrosion resistant stainless steel (non-magnetic) and should last for years. I've had it for several months and love the balance and feel of the hammer. Perfect for flattening those chicken breasts for the grill so they cook evenly or tenderizing that flank steak! Very well made with smooth lines makes it easy to clean. I would say I'd buy it again but I doubt that will ever be necessary.

This is a well constructed stainless steel mallet. I was able to wash in dishwasher without having any issues with finish. This is a big plus . I expect this to last my lifetime. I wanted stainless because my old mallet was aluminum and over the years was put into the dishwasher which caused it to turn black which would also come off on food. Yuck! A bit heavier but definitely manageable. Very competitively priced.

Excellent meat tenderizer. Makes me feel like a Blacksmith when pounding out the meat. Just the right weight and length. Superb design. Very good value, worth every cent. Almost makes me want to get several more for gifts and a spare!

This is a really nice meat mallet. I love that it's stainless steel, so I look forward to putting it in the dishwasher with no problems. The texture on the handle feels good, so no slips. It has a nice weight too it, I am just a bit disappointed that the handle may feel like it's hollow, so the weight feels rather strange.
