CatGenie A.I. Deluxe Self-Cleaning, Fully-Flushing, Automatic Cat Litter Box-New

After the cats finally got warmed up to it, it’s been one of the best products I have purchased in my adult life. It’s app works perfectly and I have not had an issue like people have whined about (I almost guarantee they have a poorly setup wifi solutions using their ISP rental modem/router combos and no dedicated router). I push a button it cleans, I use the app it cleans, the only issue is hiding the tubes for the water and exhaust tube into the toilet. I had 9 cats in the house fostering and it’s been kicking butt. I am down to my personal 3 cats again and it’s been a blessing I’ve completely removed my regular clay litter boxes (keeping them in storage in case of emergency) but I’m going to be buying another one to go into my laundry room because my cats deserve two places to poop/pee. Finally with all that being said for smaller homes I don’t know if this is the most practical solution because the bathroom is more or less taken over by the tubes and power cables and I have 5 total bathrooms so sacrificing one wasn’t an issue, also eventually there will be a hidden alcove for the actual genie which also isn’t practical for most so take that with a grain of salt everyone’s situation is different.Tl;drPros: 1. Easy af for everything I don’t even think about litter anymore.2. Haven’t had a singular app or connection issue I can even flush it while I’m at work and flush the toilet when I get home3. Smells nice I haven’t smelled any urine and the fresh scent is nice but some cats might be sensitive to it.Cons: 1. Pricy but honestly it’s not really because paying $20 every other week for litter over a year is the exact same price when the granules are mostly permanent other than when it gets kicked out of the box or flushed2. The cartridge for scent is required to operate I wish it could just flush without spraying the sanitizer solution every single time3. Not much other than getting the cats warmed up took some time and placing turds from the regular litter box in the genie to promote them to use it wasn’t a fun time4. Large (kinda) and not for every homeMessage to creators if they even read this: I encourage a mode that lets us sanitize once a day instead of every cycle while it does regular flushes throughout the day allow it to be clean and regularly sanitized without blasting through the sanitizer solution. (I’ve been using manual mode for this reason and absolutely will not put it on a regular cycle like I would like to)Other non cleaning cycles would also be awesome, just a cycle to lay the litter flat again so it’s not lopsided for a second cat to push litter out of the genie would be welcome because I want to save as many granules as I don’t like being wasteful idk I feel like that’s not entirely wild of a concept for a future model and semi easy applicationIf you do consider those and make a new model/update them send me free stuff ;) I’m joking but I would love to know if this was considered or not possible because it was already thought of by smarter people than myself!

I expected a lot more from a $450+ litter box. It was flimsy, loud, messy and took forever for each wash/dry cycle. The scoop has ridges on it to shake off the plastic pellets when cleaning put they go everywhere. I even had them in my tub. They track really bad too. When it cleans its so loud. It also flushes so many of the plastic pellets. I would say at least a tablespoon a day. I think this could have been a great item but the execution just wasn't there. I wouldn't be mad if it was just $100 or less but he price for what you get is ridiculous, not to mention all of the tiny plastics that gets flushed into the sewer.

This is my second cat genie my rat one lasted about 7 years. So well worth the money for sure. I love it because it is so time efficient and clean for my cat. I love the fact it cleans, sanitizes and dries the granules as well. Makes for no mess through my home.

We purchased this item due to the limited space we have in our home. A regular litter box would cause the house to have a foul smell quickly and my spouse hated the heavy litter bags. We have one cat and this device has been a time saver. The famous poop smell can happen if you do not flush the toilet where the waste is dumping regularly. If the smell lingers I suggest turning the machine on again to re wash the litter. Also make sure that there is not too little litter or too much as this can also cause minor issues. Our cat is enjoying his new hygienic litter box. Some litter does get out of the box but this is easy to take care of and no where near the amount from regular litter. Make sure you use a mat to catch the litter and sweep if necessary. I would recommend this product as this is a very hygienic solution to a standard litter box.

I tried this product, ran a couple sample cleanings and thought it was great, hoping to never buy litter again. Unfortunately, my cat didn’t like it as much as I did, and he wouldn’t go near it. I tried for weeks, to no avail. But the vendor was very pleasant to work with and allowed me to return everything in the original packaging (which I had kept). They refunded my money, along with the accessories I purchased for the unit. I’m disappointed my cat wasn’t as happy about the unit as I was, but I’m happy the vendor was willing to work with me, and I recommend them for a great product and the customer service I received.

In the beginning I had a few drainage issues where the box would error out. I quickly figured that the tube was up too high causing the pump to need a lot of head pressure to empty itself. So I cut the washer connection lower and sealed everything on there with barbs and clamps. It works really well now and has basically turned the cats into ornaments of the house instead of the little 💩 they are 💀

DO NOT BUY CAT GENIE AI!!! You will be forced to purchase the proprietary sani-solution OR THE UNIT WILL NOT WORK! You will have to MANUALLY remove the pee and poop in the litter when this happens.I had to carry my entire unit (full of liquids/solids) to my yard in order to clean this thing. This is the second Cat Genie I have purchased. Both had problems with clogs and had to be cleaned often. I hope you understand this enough that you don't spend hundreds of dollar only to be stuck spending $25 of sani-solution when I could have made it for $0.50.

My household is awful about remembering task and with this the litter box is now not one of those. When I have guest over half the time no one can even tell I own a cat until she pops out because of how clean my house always smells. The noise is a little loud but in a laundry room you can just crack the door and it’s like regular noise!! If you’re iffy about doing it, do it. WORTH IT.
