beautifully packaged. much cheaper than others I have seen is shops. have purchased this as a present. I already have a smaller one - they smell lovely and look nice when not in use. There are lots of different fragrances you can purchase. You don't need to burn them for too long otherwise the fragrance is used up to quickly and can be expensive . Makes a lovely unusual present.

I bought this as a Christmas present. It is really pretty. It is the second one I have purchased. If I had one criticism it is that all the ones which were this colour seemed to have the rose fragrance . I would have liked a choice iof fragrances. Even so I am really pleased with the lamp and will buy more as Christmas presents. They are beautifully presented in a lovely box.

The media could not be loaded.  A very pretty and functional lamp. Sadly the first thing I noticed was the wick/stopper just falls out of the vase. Imagine if it accidentally got knocked over. What’s the last thing you want from a vase filled with pure alcohol. You’d expect the wick to stay in the bottle so highly inflammable liquid doesn’t poor out everywhere and ignite from the flame. Expecting this to be a poor quality issue I contacted Ashleigh & Burnwood to ask if the wick was meant to be a loose fit or should it at the very least stay in the bottle with some resistance. I was told it’s meant to be a loose fit despite the concerns I raised they insisted they had never encountered any problems with the design or safety. Well another less important concern is that alcohol likes to evaporate so with a very loose cap it’s not surprising the fluid won’t last long; design flaw or deliberate waste to boost sales.I’m completely taken by the apparent lack of concern regarding the fact their product is patently a serious fire hazard but equally surprised no one has raised the concerns publicly.We have stringent safety standards in the UK so how is it this product gets past the checks.I’m hoping that my item was the exception but if it really is the norm then I strongly feel it should be withdrawn from sale with a product recall.Blatantly selling a lethal device should be reported and acted upon immediately.Unless you like playing with fire.

The lamp is nice, more a dark red than purple. Unfortunately the scent (Moroccan spice) wasn't to my taste - its a musty smell with a hint of spice. The scent does fill the house though. I put mine in the hallway and you can smell it in every room.
