Good colour, easy to apply. Thankfully nowhere near as dark as it looks on application!

When you put it on you look patchy and very dark but after you shower and the residue comes off the colour is amazing and lasts a long time so I put on at night and shower it off in morning

Was a bit scared to try this as Im very pale and thought it may look sillly on me, however inwas eager to try for the violet undertone. Thankfully the result was a lovely natural looking tan. I don't think it should or needs to be marketed as being Ultra Dark because its really not. I left it on approx 14 hours so definitely gave it a chance to develop. Ive achieved a darker deeper tan from using their Express Tan. Overall im very happy with how it looks, but I think they should focus on advertising the Violet tone element as anyone who really wants an ultra dark tan is going to be disappointed.

I’ve been wearing this for about a week now and I absolutely love the colour I usually go for St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse, but I thought I’d give this one a try since the normal version always felt a bit light for me. This formula gives such a gorgeous, natural-looking tan and develops nicely. So far, I’m really happy with it and will definitely purchase again.

I am a long-time user of Bondi Sands Liquid gold fake tan, but decided to give this product a try after seeing lots of videos of “violet” based fake tans and this was on sale. I don’t think I will purchase again for several reasons: 1) Initially when putting on the tan I noticed the consistency was much less foamy and more difficult to buff in than other fake tans I’ve used (not first-time user friendly). Perhaps mine was faulty as I noticed a lot of “liquid/pigment” would come out when the dispenser was barely pressed. 2) When washing off the guide color after development, you’ll notice the hue of the guide color shows much deeper than the actual tan, so if you want a dark tan I’d recommend other products (bondi sands ultra dark). Although I did like the undertone of the tan, I wish it was a deeper tan without having to apply several layers, probably because it was difficult to evenly apply in the first place let alone do layers. 3) I found this product transfers more in its developing time than other tans, and you have to wash it off which can be inconvenient (something you don’t have to do with the bondi sands liquid gold). 4) I found a single layer (sometimes two layers on my arms and torso) would not last as long as other tans and found myself wanting to tan again within the same week rather than other tans where I can make it reasonably last for 10 days with proper care. Overall, I would not pay full price for this tan or recommend it for beginners. Again, perhaps my bottle was faulty which made the application more of a nuisance, however I don’t think I will buy another bottle as it is more expensive and more of a hassle to apply than other tans which are cheaper, and in my opinion have a better quality. I will look for other violet based tan options to experiment with different undertones, but unfortunately this did not hit the mark for me.

This is the perfect fake tan, if you know what you’re doing. You should always exfoliate 24 hours before use, make sure your skin is completely clean and dry. It does look patchy when you put it on, but you need to trust the process and let it soak in. It leaves a natural tan look, not dark orange. It’s best to get a small brush as well to buff it in. Have been using this for a year and have never had a problem.

I am an experienced fake tan user and had been recommended this tan by someone but I was disappointed, I have used other st tropez in the past and liked them but this one wasn’t even a dark colour as stated, most of the colour comes off when you shower and needed 2/3 coats to even really show up for me, plus the colour transfer on sheets/ clothes is really bad. Would not repurchase.

I have dark hair and eyes with fair cool toned skin. Usually I use bondi sands as all other ultra dark tans always make me look orange. This one is amazing! It goes on super dark and rinses off to a beautiful dark bronze tan. It’s not orange at all, not patchy and fades evenly. Definitely my new favourite tan.

I use this product even when I'm taking a break from fake tanning because it lightly buffs my skin so it's so smooth

I’ve been using the St Tropez express mousse for quite some time and it is an amazing tan, but I wanted something darker so thought I’d give this a go. Unfortunately the application is awful, the product drags and is extremely difficult to blend in, which makes the whole application process longer and more tedious as you have to go over all of the patches and try to blend it out. If you’ve used an ultra dark tan before then the application colour won’t phase you. It does develop into a nice colour, not orange, although I did get some transfer behind the knees (even though I was wearing long pj bottoms). The smell is also slightly better than your average fake tan, but for me the application process is a dealbreaker so I wont be purchasing it again, would much rather go back to the Isle of Paradise ultra dark express tan which is amazing!

Me ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Si eres morena de piel queda genial. (Soy blanca pero cuando tomo el sol me pongo muy morena) Si tu piel es muy clara no se si te quedará bien. En 2 horas es como si hubieras estado en el Caribe. No reseca la piel Importante tener la piel muy hidratada
