If you have a John deer lx4 or lx5 this will work on your bush hog I was worried about it not fitting but it fits great sounds good very well built

Fits a John Deere 513 Rotary Mower
Had a gear box failure on my 513 Brush Hog and needed an economical replacement.This gearbox fit perfect bolted right on.Filled it with a good Synthetic gear oil and have ran it 8 hours with no leaks , its quiet and runs cool.Great replacement.

Perfect fit.

Fit the brush hog perfectly, used it for about ten hours without any problems, only time will tell how it holds up for the long haul but for the price I could buy two of these compared to the one from the brush hog manufacturer.

Check everything before installed
Was easy to install, thank goodness because the bottom seal was missing and had to pull back out to put a seal in. But once that was done perfect

Exact Replacement
I had a Rhino SE-6 and wasn't sure this unit would work. I went ahead and bought it and it is an exact replacement for my factory gearbox. It works fine and I couldn't be happier.

The photo show it painted black but came brick red color. Great gear box regardless!
