I had heard many positive reviews about this series so when I read the blurb I had to go and purchase it. A small town romance with suspense featuring a determined female lead who won't let the case go and a sexy cowboy male lead who can't stop falling for the female lead...... This book ate.... The romance, the plot, the suspense... It was balanced and very well written.... I am looking forward to read the other books in the series but all in all the first book was a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read for me.

Indigo Ridge is the first book in the brand new Eden series by Devney Perry. Winslow Covington is the new chief of police for the small town of Quincy, Montana and has to win favour with the town’s founding family, the Edens in order for the town to accept her. The only problem is that her one night mistake is none other than Griffin Eden, whom she can’t avoid because a woman is found dead on his property. What I Liked: - fast paced story that flows smoothly - badass heroine who is also a kind, caring soul - grumpy,caring hero who has respect for Winn’s job - a murder mystery that keeps you on the edge of your seat - clues that leave you nowhere close to guessing who the murderer is - a huge, loving family with a great mix of personalities - connection to characters from one of DP’s older books The best part of Indigo Ridge might be that Devney Perry gave us a female cop who is dedicated to keeping the town safe and solving the murder despite being considered an outsider by the town. Griffin is a dreamy hero with a heart of gold. It is a wonderful change of pace to see that neither of them fight their attraction or feelings and let things take their own course. The murder mystery is very well written and it was impossible for me to guess the culprit until it was revealed in the story. Devney Perry has given us yet another captivating romantic suspense that has you hooked right from the first page. You already know I’m going to read every single one of the books she writes in this series, so there's really no need for me to tell you again. If you love reading romance with suspense, some thrill and mystery you should definitely pick this one up! This is the first book in The Edens series and we get to meet the Eden clan where everyone has their own unique personality. Winslow Covington returns to the town of Quincy because she got a job as the Chief of police. She meets Griffin Eden the eldest son of the Eden family and they have a one nightstand without knowing each other's real identity at first but as they have a second encounter, it becomes clear that Griffin's family kind of owns the town and he is the last person whom Winslow should have slept with. The first case she has to solve is about a mysterious sequence of events that took place at Indigo ridge. As Winslow & Griffin's relationships evolves, the intrigue about the case becomes intense. I was so engrossed in both the plot and the relationship between Winn & Griff because both their characters were very well developed. And the book is filled with some great side characters like the Eden siblings. I can't wait for each of them to finally have their own book! I'm looking forward to continue this series. The muder mystery definitely held my attention and the epilogue was spot on!

What shall i say about this honest-to-gods so damn amazing book! It was mind-blowing with the right amount of heartbreak and love and lots of heart-warming moments✨ grumpyxsunshine ♡ small town ♡ cowboy x police chief ♡ mystery ♡ possessive MMC ♡ amazing family ♡ plot twist The love and the angst were ON POINT. The undeniable attraction and electricity between the MCs was enough to make me fan myself😘phewwwww… I loved loved loved how everything played out and am considerably proud of myself for having figured out something about the plot twist (pats back!) 🥹 The families and the love and connections between the Eden siblings was LIT🫶🏻 and the talks of Mumma Eden’s and Knox’s cooking made my tummy rumble😭😂 I loved Winslow to the moon and Jupiter and Neptune. Devney Perry has a magic touch when it comes to writing captivating and exciting romantic suspense. And the first in a new series hooks you and gets you so involved in the lives of every single character you meet. Let’s not forget that the only reason I want to visit Montana is because of the stories Devney sets there, and of course Yellowstone. Indigo Ridge follows Winslow “Winn” Covington as she moves to Quincy, Montana to take over the position of Chief of Police. While she’s not a local, having spent countless summers there with her grandfather, Winn likes to think of herself as someone who is from the town. Her job is cut out for her, though and I loved her so much because she was determined and relentless. Winn knows that the previous Chief just took things sitting down and didn’t do the work that was necessary, but she’s not going to be that way. She’s tough, she’s smart and she’s hardworking. I really enjoyed seeing how while Winn wanted to have everyone like and approve of her, she was okay dealing with all of them taking their time adjusting to her presence. Especially at the precinct. And then we have Griffin Eden, one of the famous Eden siblings. Even if you didn’t read Christmas in Quincy (it’s currently free!) you’ll already know that the series is about the Eden family. Griffin is one of many siblings that are descendents of the founders of the small town. He’s a cowboy and a rancher, and has no time for local women. He’s made his fair share of mistakes with local women and he chooses not to get too wrapped up in them to make things complicated. Griffin is a grumpy cowboy and I loved that even though he’s loving and caring with his family, he’s still pretty grumpy with them too. Griffin reminds me of a few of Devney’s earlier heroes, but somehow that only makes him even more interesting to me. Winn and Griffin’s relationship kicks off with a one night stand on her first night in Quincy, and neither of them know who the other is. But when one night turns into more and they start finding themselves sharing lots of tight spaces and counter spaces, it becomes clear that what they have is so much more. While we don’t really get too much of their steam till halfway through the book, it’s always implied. We get mornings after and flirty glances, pretending to shake off the a**h*les in their midst and the like. Their relationship is a slow burn on page, but not really one given how much time they end up spending together. Obviously it’s a romantic suspense, and the suspense kicks off right at the start. A dead body leads Winn on a wild goose chase and she starts upsetting the people of Quincy with questions and asking for too much information. I enjoyed a lot of the twists and turns, and the final twist totally caught me by surprise. But there was a moment in the book where I completely forgot that Winn was hunting a murderer, because their relationship took precedent. I know it’s a romance, but I was hoping for a good balance and I think that was a little lacking in my opinion. However, Winn and Griffin’s relationship is great. I loved Winn so hard and I really liked the fact that Griffin was the one that tripped and fell first, because he was so sure that he wouldn’t let feelings get the better of him. I also really loved the Eden family and I cannot wait to see what comes next. Thanks to Devney Perry and Valentine PR for generously providing me with an advance copy. I adored this book so so much I can't believe i left it so long before I read it. I loved the dynamic between these two characters, enemies to lovers is always a favourite of mine. The mystery combined with the romance and spice is just unmatched. I can't wait to re-read this book already.

Indigo Ridge was such a fantastic small town romantic suspense! It started The Edens Series in a strong way! Winny and Griffin's story was addicting! Devney Perry created interesting protagonists and a charming new small town to get obsessed with. The intrigue was hooking! One of the fact I enjoyed the most about this novel is the fact Winny is the new sheriff in town. As a woman, she faces a real challenge to get the respect her position requires. She was strong and level-headed, always seeking answers about the mysterious death at Indigo Ridge. Griffin was also really alluring. Their relationship that started as a one night stand, than a fling, evolved so beautifully into a powerful love story. Their connection was wonderful! The suspense of this story was thrilling. All read long I had theories, and let me tell you I was wrong all along. I was so surprised by the big reveal at the end. I really can't wait for more of The Edens Series. This family shares a tight bond and I want to discover more about each of the Eden sibling.

A very brilliant unusual plot. Intriguing and full absorbing. I couldn't stop reading. However, I found eccessive the description of the course inflicted on the protanist, in the second and last part of the story. It is a romance, not a noir, drama queen. If no for this, I would give more than five stars.

This really didn’t disappoint after jumping straight in after finishing the prequel. I loved the FMC Winslow, she id the newly appointed as Chief of Police in Quincy, she has a “simply” one night stand with the hit Griffin, they both thought they were from different towns making a hock up easy, little do they know 😉 Winslow has to win over the locals, some thinking she got the job due to her grandfather being the well loved Mayor. The town is rocked by yet another suicide, a string of those being young women found at the base of Indigo Ridge, on Griff’s ranch. Winslow is not convinced the death is suicide and starts to dig deeper. Spending so much time around the Ridge means a lot more time around Griff, they soon start a steamy no strings attached non relationship. I loved the twists and turns the investigation took, leading to a shocking discovery that I did guess just before it was confirmed yet it didn’t take away my love for the book. The biggest and most enjoyable part of the book was the romance that built between Winslow and Griff, it made my heart melt and I found myself willing them on very early on. I’m looking forward to following more of the Eden’s in the next book.

From the very first chapter, I was hooked, and by the end, I was already desperate for the rest of the series. This was the perfect romantic suspense read, equal parts heart-pounding, emotional, and swoon-worthy. The chemistry between Winn and Griffin was undeniable, but what made their story truly shine was the depth behind it. The tension, the trust, the vulnerability, and the slow unraveling of secrets kept me turning pages late into the night. Their connection felt real, layered, and incredibly satisfying. Devney Perry absolutely nailed the balance between romance and suspense. The mystery had me on edge, while the love story had my whole heart. And honestly? I haven’t been this excited about starting a new book series since all of Catherine Cowles' sensational books, which is very high praise in my book. If you love emotional romance wrapped in small-town suspense, Indigo Ridge is a must-read. I’m officially all in on the Edens!!
