Put simply, it does not work. I watched opossums and other critters walk right up to it, with the strobe flashing, and act like it didn't exist. Also, it stopped working after about a month, after a very short rain. I live in Hollywood, where it virtually never rains, and this thing stopped working. :-(

Put this outside and it worked for about a week before water got inside and it quit charging. After bringing inside for a few weeks it dried out and started working again. Will try using again once the weather gets better. Can’t say it actually keeps animals away as it wasn’t out very long before it stopped working.

it works, its been driving cats away from my yard... but after a rain, noticed that this is NOT water resistant/proof... now I am going to have to send it back... got moisture inside and maybe not fully charging the batteries... plus corrosion is starting...

Really doesn't scare anything away in my yard.

Batteries came exploded. I got acid all over me.
