I'm a breeder of Persian cats and this was exactly what I was looking for! It trims great it's very safe and it's not very expensive and easy to use. It works great on just removing mats with the medium size shaver and it's not too loud. I have some $300 shavers and all kinds of gadgets, you try things and you try things. It's nice to find something that actually works and it isn't expensive.

Ordered to help get mats out of my elder cats fur. She had no issue with the noise. Laid there and allowed me to trim her fur. No pulling and no cutting her skin. Different attachments and easy to charge and holds charge through entire cutting.

I have a long haired cat that despises brushing. Consequently, she sometimes gets nasty mats in her… arm(?)pits.I bought a pair of scissors to cut them out, but one was so close to her skin that I accidentally nicked her. I felt so guilty!So I bought these clippers.First the good: they are fairly quiet. Not loud enough to startle anyone. They work great if you pull the fur you’re trimming taut. Did an excellent job on my dog’s paws and her “sanitary trim.”Now the bad: they don’t cut through mats. I tried to get through one of the kitty’s mats & it just wouldn’t penetrate it. It’s not loud, but she also didn’t like the vibrations of it… but that’s a kitty problem, not a clipper problem.I will say that I felt relieved to not worry about cutting skin when using these.

It was easier to use than I expected. Quiet, but like any clipper you need to watch for it getting hot so take frequent breaks. It’s small in your hand so easy to move around, extra clipper attachments very useful for tiny knots and paw fluff. Pleased with it.

The media could not be loaded. I like that they are cordless, and they run pretty quiet. I got them to trim my cat’s hair down. For the price I say they are excellent. However they will still clog up if your pet has thick hair which means you may have to do it in layers. battery life seems to last at least a full haircut they are very light weight. I would say they are definitely worth it.
