As Seen On TV Snuggie for Dogs in Pink

I was concerned about sizing after reading the reviews, but I went with the small (8-11 inches neck to tail, 8-11 lbs, teacup breeds) for my 7 month tweenie dachshund whos just over 10 lbs. It fits her body as it should and I'm glad I didn't size up. I wouldn't recommend this for a dog with such short legs (like a dachshund) though- because of the way it fits so wide around the neck, her front legs easily slip out if she starts walking in the snuggie. Once one leg is out, the other slips out right away and then the whole thing just slides off her body. When this happens, she loves to shake it around like a toy. It's really just meant for laying down and lounging. Theres two main velco straps across the back then two more sets of mini velcro squares in the neck to secure it farther up the back- on my dog, these two are useless because the snuggie isn't large enough to reach all the way around her back at that point. It would be better with three straps.

These are awkward to try to put on the dogs. I use them for our adoption events in the winter when it's colder. These cost less than sweaters/sweatshirts but still wrap the chest and sides with a little warmth. They are awkward to put on pet not used to wearing them. They are "loose" and fasten with two velcro strips across the back bone. It's not a very secure fit and there are lots of gaps to let the cold in, so I've had dogs "walk" right out of them unless they lay still in your lap or a bed. But the idea is cute. If I made a snuggie I think I'd fasten the velcro strips along the backbone the length of the dog rather than two little strips across the backbone, it would be more secure and warmer inside.

My dog had to get a short hair cut, and since it's winter I really wanted something she could wear around the house that is warm and comfortable. Traditional dog pajamas are nice, but I don't feel comfortable with her sleeping in them (because of the collar, may try to take it off in the middle of the night-break her leg,etc.) This is perfect for that. It has a very loose neck (like you can see in the picture) & the arms are very loose too. And then its just like a little loose blanket on her. It works well. It's not that cute, and I think I ordered a size too big. She weighs about 3.5-4 pounds. & currently has short hair. So, an extra small would have fit her better. But, length wise its perfect.The velcro straps works fine for me, it stays on just fine.

SHE WALKS AWKWARDLY AND SHE PAUSES IN BETWEEN STRIDES AND SITS DOWN AS IF TO SAY PLEASE TAKE THIS OFF LOL IT WAS EASY TO PUT ON AND GREAT FOR LARGE CATS 12-14LBS CAT. IT IS VERY SOFT AND THE COLOR IS GORGEOUS. VELCRO STRAPS WORK WELL TO KEEP IT ON YOUR KITTY!IT FITS A BIT SNUG BUT I LIKE THAT THERE IS MORE ROOM ON THE VELCRO TO ADJUST THE FIT.I WISH I HAD THIS FOR HER IN THE WINTER MONTHS. TIME TO TAKE IT OFF OFF HER. IT'S COOL WEATHER NOW NOT CHILLY LOL I JUST HAD TO SEE HOW SHE LOOKED LOL

This kept our little (less than 10 lbs) doggy very warm and he looked cute as a button! It was easy to put on - once we figured out which way was up - and it stayed closed. I think it would be too small for a larger dog.

It came with one of the velcro straps unattached, but I was able to sew it back on myself rather than sending it back to be replaced. I have a Mini-Pin and she loves it! She even goes to check herself out in the mirror once she has it on. LOL But she totally loves wearing her snuggi and hates when it's time to take it off! The material is really soft and my dog just snuggles right in and falls asleep in it.

They fit a tiny dog. The fabric is see-through, not like in the photo. The label is poorly and crooked-ly sewn on. The SUPER cheap fabric is SO static-y that my dogs won't wear it because every time they go near something they get shocked. I guess it was to be expected though; snuggie had a great idea and they botched it in the execution. They chose the cheapest fabric there is, so wearing the product is uncomfortable and a hastle, oh and it doesn't even keep you warm. If it was a quality fabric, I'd buy it. It gets 3 stars because it a) fits b) I should not have expected the fabric to be as described because it's by the "as seen on tv" company and the adult snuggie is just as bad c) can't think of one so I'm changing this to a 2 star. I mean, the color isn't even as pictures.

I have a mini Chihuahua and she is my doll baby! She is spoiled rotten so as soon as I saw this she had to have it. I love my snuggie so way not get her one! She gets so cold all time so every day she is wearing a new sweater and curling up in a blanket with mommy so the snuggie is perfect for when I'm gone and we can't curl up in the blanket together. Yes of course she still has her blanky and teddybear friends and all our other crazy animals we have but the snuggie is perfect to curl up in while she waits for mommy to get home!
