Honeybee Gardens Pressed Powder Eye Shadow Single Refill, Antique, Matte Pale Cream Bisque, Long-Wearing, Creaseproof Mineral Color With Botanicals, 1.2g

My favorite single eyeshadow, Cover Girl in Mink, was recently discontinued and I was so bummed since I have used it for many years.So on the hunt I went for a suitable replacement. I am not a fan of multis or pallettes since I generally end up using one or two shades and wasting the rest. Some of my purchases stung my eyes and caused tearing and burning, so it has been a journey to find suitable eyeshadow. They aren't selling many singles in the drugstores. I did find a few decent eyeshadow crayons though from NYX, e.l.f. and Julep. I also purchased the Ninja Kitty and Utopia along with the metal refillable case from Honeybee. I really like their formulas, the don't irritate my eyes and they are nicely pigmented and slightly creamy. I plan on ordering a couple more shades. I will stick with Honeybee for now (hopefully it won't be discontinued any time soon). Looking for decent singles that are gentle on my eyes (and don't break the bank, looking at you Urban Decay and Jane Iredale) has been a challenge.

Color in image is very similar to what you receive in personThere are other colors i will try AND their pallet sets are very reasonably pricedThis is cheaper and some similar pricing to drug store brand busty cheaper the MACI would say this is a balance of MACS vanilla and brûlée color mixed so the perfect baseI have rebought 2 timesALSO you can attach a thing magnet OR adhesive scrapbooking sticker to back and put into ANY magnetic eye shadows pallet as it is universal shape to fit!!!Packaging is very thin and could easily crack the eye shadow so not a fan of that as there should be something other then thin envelope to protect.This is a small amount of eyeshadow pod about a quarter size in diameter. And thin. Like a normal sized pod you would get. So if expecting this to be thick and large product that is not what you will get.This is me at to go into a palette compact if you just have it loose and not in one then this product could/ would get cracked and not sanitary as not closed off in a container.

These are the best eye shadows and I love the versatility of being able select your shades and place them in the sturdy metal container that holds them. The shadows stay in place all day and last for a long time. I've found them to be an economical way as purchasing the Too Faced palette where I only used the lighter shades was a waste. This has been a great substitute and takes up significantly less room in my cosmetic bag. I highly recommend this great quality product with its innovative design.

I recently tried this eyeshadow, and while the color is a bit lighter/whiter than I was expecting, it still works well for creating a subtle, natural look. Overall pretty decent eyeshadow, good pigment, blends pretty well. I've used smoother eyeshadows, some from the drugstore. I'll use them up, but probably not a brand id buy from again.

Someone posted that this is a good replacement for MAC powder eye shadow refills. IT IS! Fits perfectly. Maybe just a little flatter and less product. But much better price. I couldn't find the MAC VANILLA shade so this was a pretty close alternative. Might be a little more powdery than MAC, but it's fine for me.

The color and use is fine. That being said, it’s the tiniest size ever and looks more like a free sample. Even though I like it, it deserves only 2 stars as the size is so small.
