Product came quickly but it was dirty with who knows what, dirt, chocolate, something else?! Wiped it down with rubbing alcohol and surface sanitizer and now have no issues. Pages are clean neat and no issues.

Of my college textbooks, this really isnt a text book at all. It's just a small handheld book. It's actually really insightful and handy in regards to why are you passionate about teaching. The writer definitely does not sugarcoat teaching or the difficulties teachers face. It's actually a great book and I'd recommend it for new and seasoned teachers.

I purchased this book for a graduate education course. I'm always a bit dubious about these kinds of books (I also had to purchase Palmer's "The Courage to Teach," which I dislike), but I am really enjoying this book so far. (I'm only a few chapters in.) The author's ideas on passion in teaching and learning mirror my own philosophy and ideas on learning and education, which helps with the enjoyment factor I'm sure. But, the book has also helped me get a better idea of strategies I can use as an educator to both keep my students engaged and interested, and to maintain my own passion and interest in education.

It offers great insight into the world of a teacher, and demonstrates what it takes to be a great teacher. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to be a teacher, current teachers, or anyone interested in just wanting to understand what it's like to be on the other side of being a student, i.e., an educator.

Very interesting and relate-able. A lot of methods to motivate myself as a young passionate teacher. Wish someone had introduced me to this book in college.

An easy, inspiring read and excellent for ALL levels of teaching. This book lights little candles in your heart and mind and gets you excited about experimenting. If I wasn't a teacher, this book would make me WANT to teach :).

Read this for a class in grad school. Learned a great deal and it taught me a lot. Love the game of schoo chapter the most!

this book was awesome! great for a first time teacher
