Very easy to use, no tools required and works well with Chrome OS.

Excellent item. Just insert your 2.5 or 3.5 hdd plug in and away you go. Get much higher data transfer speeds as its usb 3. Had it running for almost 12 hours and in constant use and it never even got warm. The unit goes to sleep if left unused for a period of time but wakes up almost instantly upon use. Performs consistently well and with high data speeds.

A little bulky but does exactly what i needed it for. No complaints. Very easy to use. Transfer speeds are very good. No screws needed.

This is really a brilliant plug and play device and being a UGREEN make I expect reliability to be excellent. Inserted WD Blue 2TB HDD and running without a hitch in W11. Casing is all plastic but really nicely finished and crucially the on/off button is flush so not something that is going to be accidentally pressed. There is however no ventilation and HDD do generate heat so some passive vents in the lid would have been nice.

This is a solid reliable enclosure that works perfectly with my Mac mini M4. I always use a small USB fan on top of the unit (with the cover off) when transferring large amounts of files as drives can get quite hot otherwise. Unlike other enclosures, drives are inserted into this enclosure flat - horizontally rather than at an angle, which is a better design feature than some other enclosures.

Super versatile as can be used in various applications whether it be PC storage and rugged enough to be taken out on the road. My specific application was to plug in and provide storage to a raspberry pi which couldn’t sync the power requirements of the drive needed. I’ve since bought several of these to provide easy external storage where needed. The Caddy just works and takes either traditional magnetic hard drives or sata SSD. Power supply is a good quality and doesn’t get too hot. The look and feel of the product is exceptional. Very good value also so would highly recommend.

Beautifully simple to set up. No screws. Just slide the SATA drive in and clip the lid back on. I have upgraded my old PC and wanted to attach the 8Gb drive I took out of the old one to the new one. Initially I'd intended to install the spare drive inside the new machine but there were no drive bays. This caddy allowed me to still access my old data. The USB cable is a little on the short side.

This was a completely painless process - the enclosure is really sturdy and clean looking. I’m using this for a home file server with a 8tb HDD inside and I’ve had absolutely 0 issues with it ! Great price , great product 100% recommend !

Bought this to replace 9 year old enclosure. The product came in a nice quality packing with an usb 3.0 cable and power supply. The product is designed well and simple to install. It holds the HDD in place with rubber foam support, no screws for installation. The finishing is good and feels like an expensive enclosure. Looks nice on my desk. It's made of quality plastic. I am very satisfied with this enclosure.
