Our cat was improvising a route from a central floor to a lower level in a tri-level house. The route required either jumping a half-floor down from a balcony or using our home theater speakers as intermediate 'steps'. This wall mounted shelf system seemed a perfect solution to provide an easy path without a long drop or significant gymnastic ability. This shelf system was super easy to assemble and install. It looks nice and provided a versatile solution for installing into a corner of the room. The cat, of course, utterly ignores this new and easier path - even despite treats and verbal encouragement being employed. The fact that she will use even the first (highest) shelf as an occasional observational and launch point is a victory which justifies the purchase. Perhaps in a year or two, she'll use the other two steps in our presence and provide the affirmation we so desperately seek for our effort? Or... we'll continue to be found lacking. It could go either way.

I needed something without a footprint in front of the sliding door that the cats could use. Wish the platforms were larger/longer for my cats. The crazy boy uses it all the time - but my larger girl won’t go near it.

Amish MENNONITES and rural areas,MI, Ohio, PA but all over USA DEPLORABLE FACTORY FARMING, 4 PROFIT PUPPY MILLS, EXTREMELY CRUEL TO ALL ANIMALS WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES ex HELL I experienced in thumb of MI, Pigeon and Bad Axe all thumb Huron County. Law enforcement and courtsI'm a board certified family physician who got stuck living rural bc husband 44yrs I now live in civilization. I never had pets growing up,immigrants whose parents believe in animals for outside or eating. At 40yo I realized horrible things farmers do,puppy mills, deplorable treatment or lack thereof in pet stores, Amish and Mennonite and most rural people,4 profit backyard breeders, now all websites social media selling& disposable of animals like garbage. We really like this. I would buy it again. Seems very solid and well made. Its only been up for a day, so my cats are still checking it out as they are use to having a cat jungle in this spot. They used the cat jungle to get to the window/door for their catio. I put this on the wall as it fit better (took up less room) then a cat jungle. I put some cat nip on it to entice them, they are still checking it out.The only reason for the 3 stars instead of 4 is my only concern is I was looking for replacement scratching poles for it, as my cats are immediately using those and I'm sure over time they will look raggedy. Can't find any replacement poles even on the Company website that is the same dimensions as came in this set. They have 1 inch longer ones. I don't want to have to drill new holes in my wall just to accommodate the larger poles. Plus I'd rather buy new scratching poles vs a whole new step kit.

These stairs encouraged my 2 big male cats (who had previously snubbed the wall shelves) to get up on the wall all on their own to lounge/ play. This brand is super sturdy. I've had two cats (16lbs + 14lbs) on the same set of stairs at the same time playing with no problems. All 3 of my cats now use the wall regularly and with ease. I recommend this brand to everyone!

This fit perfectly into a narrow space and does not stand out from the wall to much. Sturdy when installed with wall anchors, so the cats used it right away. Looks great.

I really like the quality of the stairs—you getbang for your buck as they give you all the tools you could possibly need including the drill bit. It is the perfect addition to my vertical cat wall. However it was easy to assemble, but a b**** to attach to the wall because of its awkward shape and size. My cat loves it and climbs it super well. It is quite heavy and as you can see the Molly is pulling out of the wall already (I used the ones they gave me) so I’m quite unhappy about that. Thankfully it’s holding at the moment tho. Also it’s squeaks super loudly, no matter how fast or slow she goes up or down it so it’s a little annoying at night when she decides to go climbing.

This was easy to assemble and connect to our wall. We have all sizes of cats, even a large hefty boy that this holds perfectly fine. This is great quality and a solid unit.

Super hochwertiger Kratzbaum. Sogar gute Dübel und ein passender Bohrer waren dabei. Echt top. Ich hab bei unserem das Holz gestrichen. Das ging auch ohne Probleme. Die Anleitung ist auch verständlich.

Sturdy as. Easy to put together

Forme très adaptable . Montage très simple. Mériterait un tapis griffoir plus long pour l'étagère supérieure. Bel élément une fois monté.

This product was easy to assemble and put on the wall. My cats use it, but only when motivated with a treat. I put it up in a corner as shown in one of the Amazon pictures without knowing that doing so makes it harder for adult cats to use. It is hard for them to climb to the next ledge that way. We would like it better if it had been put up as a straight staircase. Then even my adult cats would have more confidence on it. Also, it only hooks to the wall in two places - the very bottom shelf and the very top shelf - this allows movement in the middle section so again doesn't make the cats feel super safe. That being said if I had more wall space I would buy another one and put it up in a better position.
