I saw a video on Instagram for a different brand that’s more expensive and thought I’d try this first. The combs are flexible so you can adjust the size of your curls by how much hair you wrap around the tool and how tight you wrap it. The motion is very similar to using a curling iron.The tiny little bristles on the comb combined with hair product helped to smooth my curls. I had a lot less frizz after diffusing my hair. Curls are really pretty after separating them and lasts me about 3-4 days before I need to refresh it with products. I definitely recommend if you need more curl definition and to speed up your routine.For reference, I have 2c/3a, high density, high porosity hair.

This item is cheap and doesn't work like it's supposed to; I wouldn't recommend it.

I saw something similar to this on FB for an amount of money that I would never spend. This is a great copy. There's a bit of a learning curve. It works almost like a Curling iron. I have very fine 2C/3A hair. I use it before I dry on the stubborn pieces that want to stay stringy. They curl right up. I also use it while I'm diffusing, on my roots. Works great for a little volume.

I wish it was smaller. The barrel is too big for my curls.

I don’t do well with a round brush while blow drying my hair. This item makes it easy to lift my hair up for blow drying. Very handy.

The more I've used it it's gotten easier. Yes this will twist up a curl but you have to make sure you keep in mind doing it in layers for volume. No instructions come in box
