About this item
NORMAL BOWEL FUNCTION: Inulin is rich in fibre which contributes to normal bowel function by increasing stool frequency.
IMPROVES GUT HEALTH: Inulin is a prebiotic. When eaten, it is not digested and passes through the intestines without being absorbed. During this process it naturally ferments and nourishes the bacteria in the gut.
REDUCES VISCERAL FAT: As inulin passes through the gut undigested, bacteria feed on this ‘soluble fibre’ to produce short chain fatty acids (SFCAs), which have been proven to promote the loss of visceral fat, by increasing fat metabolism.
Product Description
Inulin is a water-soluble fibre sourced from chicory root. Inulin naturally occurs in many foods such as onions, bas, garlic and asparagus, however you would have to eat a vast amount to feel any benefit. Bioglan Superfoods Pure Inulin contains 100% inulin powder which is easily dissolvable in liquid and can be incorporated into your everyday diet without any fuss. It is a great addition to smoothies and juices and helps to add thickness. It can also be used in place of sugar and flour in many recipes. Inulin is non-digestible so it passes through the stomach and small intestine, into the large intestine where it is fermented by the gut bacteria, providing the bacteria with material and energy needed to proliferate and grow.

Not for me
Unfortunately this did not suit my digestion. I had terrible flatulence after taking it and when I Googled it, I found that some people are susceptible to this.

Cheaper than the high street
I used to buy this from the high street. It got too expensive so I get it here now. Exactly the same product. Will buy again
