Why the KitchenAid Stainless Steel Dish Rack Is Worth Every Penny
I recently purchased the KitchenAid stainless steel dish rack, and I am absolutely delighted with it! Its design combines stainless steel with gray accents, giving it an elegant look that perfectly complements my kitchen’s aesthetic. The dish rack’s grid is coated with a gray material, which seems to be a durable paint or protective layer that prevents rusting. This feature is particularly valuable to me because my previous dish racks often rusted over time, leaving me worried about placing clean dishes on them. The compact shape of this dish rack makes it ideal for any countertop space without taking up too much room. Despite its size, it can hold up to 9 plates and 5 cups, which is more than enough for my daily needs. The price, $59.99, is fair, and I believe it’s worth every penny given its functional design and high-quality materials. Additionally, it features an angled drainboard that directs excess water into the sink, keeping the countertop dry and tidy. The removable cutlery holder with three compartments is another practical touch that keeps utensils organized. In summary, I highly recommend the KitchenAid stainless steel dish rack for its elegant design, functionality, and durability. It’s a worthwhile investment that enhances both the aesthetics and practicality of any kitchen.

Best dish drying rack I’ve ever owned.
We have a very busy, 7 person household, so that means a lot of dishes, pots, pans, plates and utensils. We use it everyday and it holds a lot of dishes. We use a lot of large pots and pans, and it holds them well. It’s sturdy and easy to clean. Also, it’s not ugly to look at so it fits right in with my appliances. I have told all of my friends and family how much I love this rack because I’m a super picky person and this thing has done nothing but impress me. I highly recommend this rack. It drains water very well. We have hard water, but it’s super easy to clean it regularly. It has slip resistant “feet” which I appreciate and it’s easy to assemble.

best dish rack - sturdy, large, easy to clean
i'll keep it simple. i've owned a few of the no-name chinese junk dish racks on amazon before finally spending a bit more on my favorite expensive kitchen brand, kitchenaid. this one is the only dish rack i've used that doesn't bend under the weight of a heavy 12" cast iron or clad stainless pan. this also has a wide drain board, compared to the "funnel" style that all the copycat chinese junk brands use. the funnel style gets gunked up very quicky and is a PITA to clean. the kitchenaid is easy. slide the pan out, wipe it down, slide it back in. lastly, the silverware organization is great. you can either use the slots for knives, spoons etc or remove the slots and use the entire hole. this thing also looks fantastic. zero complaints, as usual with kitchenaid.

Plates can fall over
I agree with one reviewer with video who said plates fall over. The raised slots could be higher and the drain tray could be wider to keep water from spilling onto the counter on the sides. I’ve added a mat underneath. The utensil slots are an add on if you like, but when I went to remove utensils, the holder came out so I removed them. Nice, large size, good for pots and pans.

Great dish drying rack
Great capacity, sturdy, and looks nice for a dish rack. There are slots to fit knives and utensils. The draining system seems to work well, no standing water.

Great Dish Rack
This is a practical, sturdy dish rack. It holds a lot of dishes, and it is slightly angled so the water from the mat easily drains off into the sink. I like the utensil racks but they can be removed if that's one's preference. This is the best dish rack I've ever had in my long life. It was worth the price.

Sturdy Rack that Holds a Lot of Dishes
Update: Owned for 6 months now and there are absolutely no signs of rusting or weird mold appearing despite daily use. It’s going good! For years I’ve been using an Oxo plastic dish rack, and while I enjoyed using the rack initially, I found that it really didn’t suite my needs after a year of use and that plastic - as durable as it is - tends to break down over time. Additionally, when dishes are sitting on a rack that is essentially a full board of plastic, they don’t seem to dry as quickly as dishes that are on a more vented set up, similar to metal racks in an oven. The Kitchenaid full sized dish rack suited our needs perfectly. I can stack a huge number of dishes on the racks, dishes drip dry quickly, and all the water gathers on a plastic tray under the rack and can be easily emptied into the sink. To keep from having to tip out the tray myself, I set one end of the rack up on small building blocks so the water drips into the sink using gravity. The rack is very sturdy, hasn’t rusted anywhere, and can easily hold all the dishes I use for meal prep and after eating a meal with my family. Dishes dry quickly and effectively, and the entire set up is very attractive - it looks way better than the all plastic set up from my old Oxo dish rack. Overall, this is a sturdy and good looking dish rack to have on the counter. While it’s definitely pricier than other racks I’ve seen, it’s overall durability and look makes it well worth the cost.
