Absolutely no need to do any kind of upgrades to it it is plenty fast the only thing I have an issue with is the traction it gets. If you're in dirt it just has a hard time it's got so much torque. If it gets gripped though it will pull wheelies. Battery lasts a great deal of long time. The only thing I don't like is the body mounts are a little difficult to take off every time you want to turn it off and on so what I did was cut a spot out in the bed where the switch is and now it's just perfect. One of the best RC cars I've ever owned, and I have had many of them hands down this is one of my favorites I drive it almost every day. I broke it once but that's where it breaks on everybody else the little c cups. Now I jumped off of a 40 ft drop with some small bushes and it started cartwheeling I'm surprised that's all it broke it was pretty bad so those things tough and they gave me spare c cups with it in the box. I'm absolutely thrilled with this thing it takes tons of abuse and the shocks on it are amazing pre-oiled don't leak, this thing's bad I love it would highly recommendUpdate: it's been almost 3 months since I have purchased this, and I drive it hard almost every day. Accidentally let it stay on overnight and the battery was toast. But after a brand new battery I've been tearing it up with this thing and only broken one C cup. It's an amazing car I love it I'm going to buy another one just for the heck of it. I've got five 1:24 a few 1:10 and a couple 1:8 RCs and this is my absolute favorite. And its the only car I've owed i left stock. It needs nothing(maybe more aggressive tires for dirt) buy it. Im telling you its worth every cent

Great truck and lots of fun out of this brushless system. I blast around my smoothe concrete driveway and it will tip and roll before it slides. Still a great handling truck. Very responsive and good run time. Nice licensed body and fits in perfectly with my 1:24 crawlers.

Fun but zero parts easily available after bout 5 charges diffs stripped. Dont bother

Very nice truck. Super fast and plenty of torque. However it's too much power for those tiny parts and little truck. Didnt even drain one battery b4 it broke. Reached out to FMS and they were more than willing to fix the issue and r sending replacements, just taking forever. But is on their way they have provided tracking. Originally purchased for indoor use and this thing is almost to fast for indoors 😆 🤣

After 30 minutes of normal use, the front differential broke and won’t catch a new c cup. Reached out to the manufacturer and they said since it’s Amazon order they can’t do anything. (Ordered replacement but FMS has $15 shipping on 3$ parts). There’s no way to reach this seller and I can’t return it cuz it’s got obvious use from driving in the grass for $30 minutes.2 stars is only due to lack of contact. The truck, when it was running, is awesome. But it breaking down so quick is not good. And fms maybe could do better support wise from obvious resalers that don’t have a website. I doubt they’d have helped me out even if I ordered direct from them as I think this store is just a proxy store for them direct on Amazon.Clearly defective, zero help, but I’m gonna fix it with replacement parts hopefully. Awesome truck when it was running.

The media could not be loaded. First time out battery lasted about 45 min. 20 foot jumps and cartwheel landings it’s takes licking and keeps on ticking!

I bought this truck direct from FMS last Christmas (Not from Amazon). We’ve driven it a few dozen times. Had to make some adjustments to the servo rod that changes the gears as it would spin gears for the high speed selection. Simple enough fix.Initially it ran great upon fixing the linkage issue. It does tend to flip rather easily on asphalt as the tires grip phenomenally there, but the frame and shell are extraordinarily tough. On dirt is far more fun as you don’t have to keep putting it back on its wheels from flipping frequently. It could stand a quicker steering servo with better steering radius to be honest.Fast forward to September this year when the rear differential went kaput. Ordered that part from Amazon as the manufacturer requires shipping fees at nearly the same price for the part unless you spend more than $99 dollars. It’s 10/9/24 now and the rear differential needs to be replaced…again. The front diff has held up well and functions smoothly. Rear diff is crunchy. Again, I suggest dirt runs as the torque will cause wheelies and I believe is the issue when running on asphalt. Hard asphalt launches = stripped diffs.Battery life is great, but takes a while to recharge so I’d recommend a second for longer play time.In summary it’s a tough, fun little machine with one major weakness; rear differential. So long as you’re not hard launching on grippy surfaces it’ll entertain you for sure.
