Lee Precision 90811 Auto Drum Press Dispenser, Red, One Size

I bought the first one of these March this year. Two issues with it 1) it spilled powder all over 2) one of the lugs broke off. Returned & refunded by Amazon. Undeterred I thought that I was unlucky with a defective powder dispenser, so I bought a second One. Lugs all fine, but powder all over the bench again. After some research I found a solution that seems to be working for me. When I took the plastic drum out of the body and screwed the retaining thumb screw directly into it, all the way plus a little bit, the unit has sealed when I've reassembled it all. I believe the plastic drums, when new, do not have the threads cut to the full depth. I've done this with three drums and all have shown a vast improvement in terms of spillage. I still get a few flakes, but Titegroup and CFE223 now cycle extremely well.
