Bag is large and has lots of storage. Wish it had slots for pens/USB drives/small items, but the dividers make these manageable. The straps on the cover/pockets look nice but since there's no quick release they quickly get tedious to open/close. My biggest issue is the strap design- I used the bag for 2 weeks and the loop clip for the strap broke. It uses a ball-ring style connector and the metal ring that retains the fastener broke, causing me to drop the bag on the pavement and causing case damage to my laptop. The bag looks nice and the leather is decent quality, but the metal parts are not very sturdy. Also getting a lot of fraying/loosening of the stitching. Suspect this bag will last about 3 months of use before falling completely apart. Would not recommend.

Ok, I ordered this messenger bag over one that was twice the price. I cannot tell the difference between the two in appearance. It is leather, and therefore does smell like leather. The odor has dissipated since having it out of the box. It is as pictured, and is a nice bag for the price point. I am a bit concerned that it will not stand up to hard use, but I have only had it a few days. So far, it has upheld well. It is a basic messenger bag; so if you are looking for a giant bag, this is not it. It's a good looking, leather bag useful for carrying books, notes etc. I used leather conditioner on it, and it softened up well. A good bag for carrying what you might need for the day. I am glad I purchased this bag, and not the one twice the price that looks exactly the same. As described and pictured. Happily surprised.

Great material, no smell other than leather. Very nice lining, green as shown in other reviews. Substantial enough to protect electronics and additional items. No random threads or any other defects in quality. Nice brass hardware with real buckles which my husband loves. A beautiful bag that helps my husband look very professional when carrying his laptop and other essentials for his busy work load. Amazing for the price and I would absolutely recommend to friends and family ;)

Absolutely love this bag. It's generally difficult to find a bag for a 17inch laptop, but this one fits the bill. It has a large compartment for your laptop and large documents, spiral notebooks and the like. It also has two smaller front compartments for smaller items such as computer accessories like a small mouse, etc. There are also side compartments where a phone and/or charger could be stored, but I wouldn't use them for a phone as they don't close securely enough. They would be more suited for cables or headphones, etc. The #1 reason I ordered this particular bag is its "retro" look and styling, it reminds me of something that Indiana Jones would use on his way to teach one of his archaeology classes.

The package came opened. The glue strip didnt adhere since there was some kind of oil or soap on it. I wiped it off enough to get it out of the clear package. After washing my hands twice, I was treated to a god awful smell ( no, not a fragrance) from the leather. The leather is thin, the workmanship appears fine I just dont think it will last very long. looks pretty much like the picture but not something I want around.

My husband likes the bag, it fits his style and carries all the necessary items for work. My only complaint is that we did not receive the piece the covers where the metal clips meet on the shoulder strap. It is very uncomfortable to wear without it. I would have returned the bag for this reason but missed the window to do so.

I got this as a gift for someone going to college. I was really impressed with the size and quality of the bag. It can handle a 15" laptop easily along with books, notebooks, pens, phone, and what ever else. It is stylish and I have no doubt it will last a long time. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Bought this as a present, it's identical to one I already have, wish I'd found this one before ordering mine. Perfect light color, buckles & rivets in perfect condition. If mine we're more worn I'd order another one if these to replace it.
