I have found the book helpful in refreshing the critical thinking approaches I've learned over the years and challenging me with new techniques to sharpen my skills. Having recently retired, I regret not having a resource such as this book available my earlier in my career; however, our current times demand that we have effective reasoning skills to truly understand what is going on in our world and cut through the falsehoods and biased "information" that pervades our media. An invaluable resource for those to whom the truth matters.

It provides the reader a valuable tool to parse the arguments of all sides in an objective way. It also teaches the reader how to spot a lie. With an untrustworthy media and political class spreading narratives instead of facts, these lessons skills are necessary tools for an informed citizenry.
