A Bullet For Me (A World of Payne Book 1)

Quite frankly this is a great read. I was caught up in the plot from the outset, which has an unexpected twist on a well known formula and so makes it an exciting change. I could see this as a TV drama. It has a well thought out plot, some tender caring moments and excitement in bucketloads. Retired policeman - committing murder! As a first book it is a brilliant read. Congratulations Terry Atkinson. Can’t wait for book number 2.

Great read, Get Carter type plot with lots of local Tyneside connections. A must read.Got through it in two goes. Enjoyed it so much.

Believable plot although a bit basic but a very enjoyable read and well done to the author on his writing debut.

I bought this book on the off-chance, it was a good storyline with good characters and really enjoyed reading it. I'm looking forward to the next one!

A fast moving ‘who dun it’ with a big difference - set in the Newcastle/Ponteland/Durham area. Well researched asyou would expect from a former detective.

Thoroughly enjoyable story that had me gripped from the first page. Sincerely hope there will be a sequel as l would love to see the brothers take it to the bad guys who work above the law.
